I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could go I stopped to take a breather and see where I was at. I was on the moving staircase when I saw Nearly Headless Nick flouting past.
"What are you doing? It is nearly curfew." Said Nick. Panting I said,
"Going...to see...Professor... McGongall."
"Well why are you here? You could have took the shortcut stairs ago."
"Where...is it?"
"Come on."
I followed Nick up and down corridors, stairs and even a few old secret passage ways I saw students running just to get back to the common rooms. Ravenclaws and Gryffidors going up Hullepuffs and my fellow Slytherin going down. I have always been on the lower levels when the sun sets but now as I am running past massive window looking west I can see the sun melting into the hills surrounding the castle. I was back to reality when Nick suddenly stops and I fell though him.
"Sorry Sir Nick. I was just" I was cut off by the sound of an opening door and a which came out.
"Your late Miss. June."said McGongall not sounding very pleased at my late arrival.
"Sorry Professor." I said shyly. I have been to her office multiple times on different accounts. It had a Gryfindor banner hanging in one corner and the Hogwarts crest on anther . She ushered me to set on a seat across from a gold and red velvet chair. But not just the chair was red velvet but anything upholstered in her office, after I sat down I was afraid that she would chain me to her chair and intricate me till I give her my wand. But that did not happen she simply asked.
"Would you like some tea Miss. June? You look exhausted."
Ummm... Yes ma'am."she waved her wand in a patten that I could mot comprehend and a tea kettle and two cups appeared out of thin air. The tea pot poured the first cup which looked like my favorite tea, English Rose. And in the other cup it poured a silky black liquid which looked like coffee. A tea saucer appeared in front of me on the table and the cup drifted down till it landed on the saucer.
"By the look on your face it appears, that you want to learn that kind of magic?"
"Uhh, yes?" I don't know how to respond to that.
"Then from now on you will have tutoring with me every Friday night at 8:00."
"But-" I don't know how this got to me have having totoring.
"And every lesson that you miss you will have a detention."she said calmly like she didn't just ruin my life. Then she pulled out a price of parchment and scribbled down something and said.
"I will see you on Friday." See handed me the paper and I walked out of her office thinking.
"What just happened."
