I checked my phone, it was 4 AM and there were still people being killed. With every trigger that's pulled, I see Bria's smile. Something that was taken away from her. I will never forgive that bastard for this. He took my best friend. He will pay for this, even if I have to watch the entire world burn to the ground in the process. No more tears. I'm finding this creep. I went into the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife I had. I grabbed my bag in my phone and some other essentials. I walked towards the window and took a deep breath. I watched the dead bodies around me and other bodies dropping to the ground. I turned around to take one more look at Bria.

"I'm doing this for you. There's no way he'll get away with this. Watch my back, baby girl. I love you." I whispered. I wiped a tear from my eye. The last one I'll see for a long time, I'll make sure of it. I took one step outside and everything hit me at once. I took my knife out of my bag and decided to channel my fear into rage. I ran up to a random guy with a gun and pinned him against a wall.

"Make one move and I'll gut your insides. Now, here's what you're gonna do, you're going to give me that gun and you're going to walk away, got it?" I said bitterly. He just smirked.

"Beat it, princess." He scoffed. He tried to walk away and I used one hand to push him against the wall again and then I put the knife up to his neck.

"Now, obviously, you've survived this chaotic mess this long. It'd be a shame if you died because of a simple favor that you couldn't be bothered to do, now wouldn't it? Either give me the gun or I get to watch your head roll over my feet." I said with my eyes locked on his. All emotion left my voice. He looked slightly scared, but slightly impressed. Reluctantly, he held the gun up and I snatched it from him. I smiled and patted his back. Then I just walked away. Over the next few hours, I was able to get a few more guns the same way. I was impressed with myself. At the moment, I had two goals: find the madman that killed Bria and find Danny. It's almost 6 AM and the sun is coming up, the killings haven't stopped. Man, these people just don't rest. I rolled my eyes and kept walking straight. I won't hesitate to shoot or stab anyone who gets in my way. But of course stop asshole decided to test me.

"Where you going looking so upset?" He said softly. His hand caressed my face. "You're too pretty to be so pissed off." Is he being serious right now? I smiled devilishly.

"You know...you're right." I walked closer to him. I still had my knife in my hand. He started to get weirdly excited. But I kept my cool. He tried to grab my hand but he met my knife first. The shock on his face made me even happier.

"BUT my best friend was just senselessly killed right in front of me and I still don't have the slightest clue what's been going on lately so if you ask me, I have the right to be pretty pissed, don't you agree?" I say pushing the knife further into his neck. He opens his mouth to talk, but I cut him off. "Also, the vibe of this giant riot has affected me and I would love to slice your head clean off." He looks utterly terrified and I just smile.

"Alright alright just let me go!" He begs. I lean closer to his face. "If I see you anywhere near me ever again, I'll make you wish you hadn't." I threaten. He nods quickly and I take the knife away. He runs off in the other direction and I just smile to myself. Man, this is gonna be fun.

I keep walking and try to figure out where I'm going. I know my way around but I have to plan this out if I wanna reach the end of the day in one piece. I try to dodge the areas that have the most amount of people, even though my odds of getting killed are lower, my odds of getting away from that crowd are pretty low as well. I found a back road that didn't have anyone there so I decided to take the back road. After everything that's been going on, what's the worst that could happen? You know how on TV whenever someone says that, you automatically find out what the worst possible situation could be?

This was no exception.

I slowly walked down the alley, holding my knife tightly. Halfway through, I see a tall figure in the shadows. It's dark but the sun is out so some light was able to get through.

"H-hello...?" I said shakily. You could sense the fear in my voice. I'm more confident when I know who I'm up against. Clearly, this wasn't the case. The shadow just moved towards me, causing me to move back. After a few steps, I started to notice that I was still trying to escape a shadow, I had to figure out what I was was seemingly afraid of.

"Who's there?" I stopped in my tracks and nervously called out. The shadow stopped moving as well, which honestly, was pretty scary. I stood in place, mostly out of shock, while the figure moved closer. I started sweating and tightened my grip on my knife until my hand started hurting. Suddenly it stopped in front of me and a deep voice spoke up.

"Oh, you know exactly who I am...Adrienne."
