Chapter 7: Learning my mission

I woke up hoping for a semi normal day. I decided to go for a swim before i woke up the rest of the group, They deserved to sleep in past dawn. I jumped into the lake where we set up camp the day after we were attacked. It was a nice little beach. It was still spring, so there was no one there. But cold water doesn't bother me. When i landed in the nice water, i felt at home. It was nice to be able to hear nothing, to just feel weightless, and not have to worry about anything. I'm glad i can't talk to fish, from what i've heard from by brothers and sisters, fish are assholes. After about 20 minutes of being under, i felt someone else was under with me. I turned around to see my father staring at me. He has never shown himself to me, he just speaks in my head. "Zach, thank gods i've finally found you, you have to listen". "Hold it right there 'dad', you just can't randomly show up here, and expect me to listen to you. You want me dead, remember"? "No, i really don't. Zach you have to listen. The games are over, Zeus has decided to get rid of all demigods. He wants to kill them all. And their human parents as well, to get rid of all evidence we were here". "Why are you telling me this. I thought all gods hated their demigod children. I thought you hated me". "No i don't hate you, from what i've seen, you are the most powerful of all my children. That's why im telling you this, you can stop Zeus, but it'll be very hard to do it". "Wait, i have to stop the world's most powerful god". "Yes, but with my help you can do it, you see, all the other gods don't want to see their children go. Because how ever much they bet, demigods are still our children, and whenever there's a kill, it hurts us". "So you mean that guy i killed the other day"? "His name was Bradley. He showed great promise, but he had no where near as much power as you. That's why im here, to help". "Ok, then where do we start". "Hollywood, you're going to meet your uncle Hades. The king of the underworld"
