Chapter 10: L.A

So im just gonna say, L.A fucking sucks. Why my dad couldn't have told Hades to meet us halfway or something like that i'll never know. For one, we were in Michigan, you know, the state surrounded by water. And it was fucking great there. Forest everywhere, and all the water. Every town we went to had a least a pond, most had lakes. It was so amazing. But L.A. I wouldn't trust the water, only the ocean. But the ocean was amazing. But we'll get to that. "Here we are everyone, L.A. Home of dreams and broken hearts." I was always great with my words. "Ok, now where do we go, L.A is HUGE, its not like we can see every little thing in a day." Well, i haven't thought about that part let, but I know where im going...To the ocean." Let's just say, the ocean is about 100 times as big as lake Michigan. And about 100 times better. "Come on guys, it's like 90 degrees today, the water is AMAZING." "I'll be out in a little bit." Said Nehal, for like the 5th time in the past hour. "That's all you man, i'm more of a land guy myself." Said Cam, but i just think he wants to stay away because electricity and water don't mix well together. Jessica and Justin went out to find a hotel, how their going to get one is beyond me, but i really don't care, as long as im in the water, im happy. "Soot yourselves, im going to have fun." I said before i started sinking right to the bottom. The thing i love about the water, is that its so peaceful. There's no fighting for our lives, or worry about feeding the others, im at peace here. "Zach. Zach you need to listen." Well, there goes the peace. "Zach, you need to go to the hollywood sign, that's where the entrance to the underworld." "Dad..." But he vanished.

When my head broke the surface, i almost couldn't breath. The air in L.A is the worst, very hard to breath there. When i got to shore my friends looked like they weren't expecting me. "We thought you'd be down there for another 2 hours or so, what's up." Nehal's eyes looked concerned. "My dad came to me again, the hollywood sign, that;s where the entrance is. Time to get the others."
