Next day, Khushi woke up to the sweet sound of her alarm...in her house. She woke up with much more relief than the day before. She now knew her name, her personality and that she had a family, a home to go to, people to turn to. But she still wasn't completely clear about how they were behaving to her before the accident, or how each of their character was, or their likes and dislikes. But it bugged her how she knew a lot about Arnav, except his character and behavior to her before the accident. She barely remembered a few of the times they spent together. Guess it was her fate to love a family so much and know absolutely nothing about them.

She walked down the familiar stairs and saw the broken car lying in the corner where she had accidentally tripped and fell into Arnav's arms the previous night. She felt overjoyed at the thought that she could actually start remembering things again. All this running in her head, she knocked herself into Anjali Di. But luckily, she caught herself and Di before they fell. And that was when she finally noticed all the excitement around, how everybody was busy with their own jobs, how they lived happily in their own little world.

She apologized to Anjali and then asked, "Di, what is going on? What's all this about?"

"Oh, Khushi I forgot you have amnesia.....funny. Forgot you have amnesia. Yeah...tomorrow's Diwali."

Khushi felt like she'd just been hit in the head with a hammer. Forgot Diwali? Ok...her amnesia was getting way out of hand. But...

"At least you're gaining some of it back", said a husky voice behind her, a charming voice that made her heart jump to her throat. How in the world did he know what she was thinking?

She spun around on the balls of her feet, and came face-to-face with Arnav. Anjali slowly crept away, leaving the two to their crazy fate.

"Hey how are you now? Feeling better?" he asked leaning towards her.

"Um, I'm fine. You?" she asked in a small voice.

"Oh I'm great."

When he came closer, she just slipped away and cleared her throat, "Oh, I'd better help them. Can't say no to Diwali, can I ?"

He moved away and cleared his throat, "Um, I guess not."

But even as she was leaving, Khushi knew Arnav had seen the slight smile that she just couldn't resist...
