Harry and Ginny: Until the End

Beginning the School Year

Hello! Welcome to Harry and Ginny: Until the End! I can't wait for you to enjoy the story! Reminder that James and Lily Potter lived so a lot of other people did too.

Harry's POV
It's my 6th year at Hogwarts. I have a pretty good feeling about this year....

"Harry, are you almost ready to go to King's Cross Station?" Yelled my mother, Lily, from the inside of our house in Godric's Hollow.

"I've been waiting for you Mom!" I yelled back

"Well we better get going. We are supposed to meet the Weasley's in about 20 minutes. It will take at least 20... If we leave now we'll get there right on time."

"Okay, I'm gonna go inside and get a couple more things and then I'll be right out."

I walked inside and went straight up to my room. I needed to grab Hedwig and then leave. As I was walking towards his beautiful, snowy owls cage I noticed the signup sheet for Dumbledore's Army. The DA was a group of Hogwarts students that met up and learned a proper way to defend themselves against the Dark Arts. I looked through the list of names. My eyes instantly fell on Ginny Weasley's name. I found myself quite often during the summer just staring at her name and her handwriting, not knowing why. She did have beautiful handwriting. Oh gosh, I need to get moving. I put the paper down and picked up Hedwig at last and headed downstairs. We finally headed for King's Cross Station.

After a car ride that felt like seconds, they arrived at King's Cross.

"Harry you go 1st through the platform." instructed Lily

Harry ran towards platform 9 3/4. As soon as he got to the other side he noticed all the Weasley's about to board the Hogwarts Express. His eyes instantly noticed a girl with fiery red hair. Ginerva Molly Weasley. Harry enjoyed it when Ginny was happy. He loved to hear her laugh and see that beautiful smile. What was he saying? That was the little sister of my best friend. She was like my little sister. He was then knocked out of his trace by a slight shove. When Harry looked up he saw his father, James Potter, looking straight at him, grinning.

"See something you like?" Laughed James. His father just continued to walk leaving Harry trailing behind him and his mother. Harry's dad had no idea whom he was actually staring at. Harry had no idea what his dad would say if he knew exactly who Harry was staring at.

"Harry, walk faster or else your going to miss the train." Said Lily

"Love you Mum. Love you Dad." Harry said as he gave his mum a kiss on the cheek and a hug to his dad.

When Harry hugged his dad, his father held him in the embrace a little longer than usual and whispered in Harry's ear, "Send me an owl if you need any advice."

When Harry pulled away he just looked at his father. James winked at Harry. Harry finally boarded the Hogwarts Express on hopes to find Ron and Hermione in a compartment somewhere.

When Harry eventually found Ron and Hermione in a compartment, there were more people in there than usual. Inside the compartment was Ron, Hermione, Neville Longbottom, Ginny, Dean Thomas, and a long blonde haired girl he had never met before.

"Harry! We were worried you didn't make it!" Hermione yelled as soon as he opened the compartment door. She jumped up and hugged him. He chose a seat in between Ron and Neville.

"Where were you mate?" Asked his red headed best friend, Ron Weasley

"Just got late leaving our house."

"Harry this is Luny Love- I mean Luna Lovegood. She's in Ginny's grade" Hermione said embarrassed that she called her Luny.

"Nice to meet you Luna" I said while waving a the blonde.

"How was your vacation when we weren't together." Ron asked while chuckling a little.

"Pretty good, my dad and I played a lot of Quidditch... How was you summer Ginny?" Harry asked glancing at the beautiful ginger.

"It wasn't very eventful."

"Ah"

Harry glanced over at Hermione and she was smirking looking between Harry and Ginny.

"What?" Harry whispered to her.

"Oh nothing..." She said

"I'm going to get a little fresh air." Said Harry while grabbing his invisibility cloak secretly.

After that everyone continued to talk about their summer until they got to Hogwarts.

In the Great Hall after the sorting of 1st year students.

Ginny's POV
Harry had not come back when he went to get some fresh air. I saw him grab the invisibility cloak. I wonder where he went. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard some thuds from across the table. It was Hermione hitting Ron with her book.

"Will you stop eating?! Your best friend is missing!" Hermione said angrily but also nervous

"No way! Turn around you lunatic!" Ron said while pointing to the Great Hall doors.

I turned towards where Ron said Harry was and saw Harry walking towards us. He looked like he was bleeding.

He's covered in blood again." Hermione said concerned.

"Why is it he's always covered in blood?" I said anxiously wanting to know what happened.

"Looks like it's his own this time." Ron said with a mouth full of food.

He sat down next to me and just simply said "Later, what'd I miss."

Ron went to explanation on what the sorting hat had said in his song. While Ron was talking to Harry, I took Harry's napkin from him and wiped his nose for him as for it was covered in blood. We stared at each other for what felt like hours and eventually he put his hand up to mine took the napkin and said "Thanks." I looked at Hermione and noticed her smirking at Harry and I and then quickly looked at Ron instead. I couldn't like Harry. I was supposed to be over him. He was Ron's best friend. I'm dating Dean! And besides I don't think Harry likes me that way.

I eventually tuned in at the end of Dumbledore's speech. It was time to head up to our dormitories and get ready for the year at Hogwarts to soon begin.
