James POV
It had been about three months since he and Lily had taken Harry to Kings Cross Station, to send him off to Hogwarts. He couldn't believe his little boy was already in his 6th year. He really should've had more kids, he thought to himself on the cold night in Godric's Hollow. It was almost December. Him and Lily never really got to having another kid because of all the running and hiding they've had to do. First the 1st Wizarding War, and now the 2nd one has started. People keep disappearing. Even the muggles are noticing. His thoughts were interrupted when his best friend, Sirius Black, came bursting into James and Lily Potter's house.

"Prongs! Guess what I found attached to Hedwig!??!!" Sirius said bouncing for joy. When Padfoot said "Hedwig" he got a burst of energy pulse through his vains. Hedwig was his sons owl bought by his half giant friend, Hagrid.

"Hedwig!? That can only mean?" James looked at Sirius he just nodded. They both scrambled to get the letter open. When they eventually did the letter read:

Dear Dad and Sirius,
Hey it's Harry. I had a couple things I wanted to ask/talk to you guys about. Today is our 1st Quidditch game and I'm feeling pretty confident about it. It's against Slytherin. I will owl you as soon as it's over to tell you how it went.
Now for the real reason I needed to Owl you both. I need some help with girls. There is this girl, she is in 5th year and I think I'm beginning to have feelings for her. She used to like me but now she's over me and has a boyfriend. Though I don't think they are doing well. Any advice? I know Dad at Platform 9 3/4 you told me that I could owl you for advice. I figured Sirius would want to help too.

Sirius and James looked up from the letter grinning from ear to ear and screamed in unison, "HARRY'S GOT A GIRL!" They begun dancing and running around the house of excitement.

Then, in walked Lily Potter into the mad house the James and Sirius had created. "What is going on? James. Explain. Now." Lily said while attempting to put her hands on her hips given the fact she was holding 3 grocery bags on each hand.

"HARRY'S GOT A GIRL!" Yelled Padfoot as he ran by with the letter. "Oh and Harry says hi." Then Sirius continued with the madness.

"What! James what is he talking about!" Demanded Lily.

"Babe, look at this letter Harry sent me. Read it and it will make sense." Said James Potter handing Lily the letter from their son.

Lily dropped all her bags when she got to the last sentence. She sat down on the floor and begun crying. "My little baby boy is all grown up."

"Yep, he is. Hey Lil?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you wonder if it's a red head? I mean Potter men always tend to fall for the red heads." James ended with a smirk.

Lily blushed at the last comment at 1st but then her eyes became really wide. She jumped up and ran upstairs to her only child's room.

"Lily! Wait up! What are you doing?"

By this time Sirius had stopped running around the Potter household and had joined them.

"James, don't you understand?"

"No." Said both James and Sirius in unison, shaking their heads.
