John was finishing packing his clothes and loading them into his truck along with Claire's Things. as he's carrying her broken down bedframe out to the trailer attached John noticed that Scarecrow was back and yet he never touched it this past week has been strange anyhow why would he put something up his son was scared of.
Tonight was the last night here so John made one big bed of blankets in the middle of the living room floor for the three. John had the fire and grill going tonight they were eating grilled hot dogs and then roasting marshmallows. The kids were playing actually getting along really fine which John was thankful for.
Out of the corner of his eye he sees the scarecrow running through the field alarmed John chases it. He knows he shouldn't it be this close to the dark but his kids are playing in here he needed to find them "DADDY!!!!!!! IM SCARED" John never ran so fast in his life towards his daughters screams "BABY I COMING HOLD ON" finally finding her he sees a scratch across her chest no deep enough to worry but it still bleeding "baby you OK..where Johnny" she began to cry "the bad thing took him towards the barn" okay baby we gotta go save your brother can we do that "he gave me this says it keeps away nightmares that maybe it would keep me safe,daddy the bad thing went after me but I raised this and just scratched me then growled taken johnny, daddy it's my fault" 'shit shit shit please be okay Johnny shit wait call norman' "hey honey listen since you have the protecting necklace can I ask you to run in the house into the closet and call this number please baby" she nods silent tears streaming down her face he kissed her on her forehead watching her run into the house.
Grabbing a Ax he runs towards the barn where he hears Johnny yelling at the scarecrow "JOHNNY IM COMING JUST HOLD ON" rounding the corner he sees his son with his shotgun as John runs towards them johhnny pulls the trigger shooting the creature which send Johnny falling backwards screaming it hurt John knew he probably knocked his shoulder out of socket "shh okay listen I'm here you gonna be okay climb up there and don't come down if something happens to me go get Claire she's in the closet calling grandpa Norman okay I love you son" Johnny nodded crying to "i love you to dad be careful please" John nodded not wanting to make a empty promise running over to wear they left the scarecrow crow he was gone suddenly something sharp slicing across his back.
Jumping from the pain he turns only to have a hand grab his throat "DADDY NO!!!!!PLEASE I NEED YOU, I JUST GOT YOU" something switches inside John as he fights stronger harder for his life and his children kicking with all his might he finally catches the creatures face kicking multiple times the creature finally drops him. Coughing catches his breath he jumps up swinging the ax connecting with the creatures back the creature stabs John in his side with what looks like bone pinning John to the wall. John's pouring blood getting weak the creature slams his head into John's and the last thing he sees is darkness cloud around him as he mumbles "run Johnny save your sister I..I..love you".
