I Guess I'm Not The Only One Broken

CHAPTER 9

We walked down to Subway and ordered some rolls, crisps and drinks, and then sat down in the corner to try and stay unnoticed. A shop assistant stood not to far away from us, like a bodyguard, blocking everyone from getting to us.

My phone flashed up to say Harry had mentioned me in a tweet. 'I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world, I love you @ZoPo <3 xxxxx'

Aw.

I looked up and smiled at him, and he smiled back. I knew it wasn't true. It was just for managements sake. I favorited and retweeted the tweet and then tweeted.

'With my amazing boyfriend, @Harry_Styles. Love yoooooou!xxx<3'

Once I tweeted that, Harry then also retweeted and favorited it as well as his fans. My mentions also blew up and I got followed by many fans too. "Are you finished?" Harry asked. I pulled my phone down away from my face and nodded. We threw our rubbish away then Harry took my hand and we walked out of Subway.

"What do you wanna do now?" I asked.

"I 'ave something to show you," He smiled. He led me to a nearby lake where there were horses in the field next to it.

"When I was little, I used to tell everyone that I owned these horses. I used to visit them everyday," He chuckled, stroking one. The horse took a step towards me, and I flinched and stepped back. Harry saw I was a bit scared, and took my hand in his. He put it up to the horse, and made me stroke it. I smiled at Harry, and he smiled back, before picking up some long grass and hand feeding the horse. I copied him, and we stayed there a while, before we decided we were too hot.

Harry stripped down to his boxers and jumped into the lake, shaking his hair when he re-surfaced. He looked so god damn cute when he did that.

"Come on," he grinned. "Just strip," he chuckled when he saw me biting my lip.

I did as I was told and stripped down to my underwear and jumped in, covering my stomach with my arms.

We splashed around for a bit before facing each other. I started biting my lip again as he put his hand under my chin and lifted my head up, making me look him in the eyes.

"You look sexy when you do that," he chuckled. I smiled and blushed.

He leant in, and I think we were about to kiss, but then he changed his mind and pulled away.

"We should er.. get going.." he said, climbing out.

Awkward.

What was so bad about kissing me?

I was hoping he would help me out, but he didn't. He got dressed and walked off, leaving me there.

I lay down on the grass, deciding to dry off a bit first before getting dressed. I don't know how long I lay there for, but I had fallen asleep. I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hi Lou," I said.

"Hey Zo, where are you? I just stopped by Harry's place and you weren't there, only Harry was. He said he doesn't know where you are," Louis replied.

"I'm at the lake, I'll be at mine in a few minutes, go there. but don't bring Harry,"

I hung up and stood up, wincing.

Ow. I had got sunburnt and it really freaking hurt! I was sore on my shoulders and my thighs. I quickly pulled on my clothes and headed home, where Louis was waiting outside. I let him in, and we sat down in my room. "Are you okay? Your sunburn looks pretty bad," he said, frowning.

"I'm fine, can you pass the aftersun?" I asked, pointing next to him.

He picked it up, and I went to take it but he shook his head.

"I'll do it for you," he smiled.

He rubbed the aftersun on my burns then set it back down.

"So what happened with you and Harry today?" he smirked. I explained to him what we had done, and then how he just left me.

"I don't know why all of a sudden he's like this. I mean he was happy and his usual self before but then a few days before Simon said that Harry needed to date you, his mood just suddenly changed." Louis explained.

"He might've done something or something might've happened to him?" I suggested, putting my glasses on as my eyes were killing me.

"Well, he did say that he started talking to this girl and he was really happy, but then he suddenly changed," Louis said and I nodded.

I guess he had a bad break up? Or maybe he wanted to be with her and got stuck with annoying little me instead?
