You have to get home.

When you open your eyes, you notice you're in an empty room with just a set of ascending stairs to your left. Everything about this room looks old. And dark. It's almost too hard to see. There are no windows and there's only one light. But it's so far above your head. You wonder if there's any way to make it brighter in here. But wait. Where is "here"?

You decide to take the stairs on your left. As the darkness begins to lift, you finally pinpoint the design. Victorian. Everything looks Victorian. All the colors were dark. There were elaborate moldings, and dark varnished woodwork.

But worn at the same time. The wallpaper is ripped and falling off. Dust on all the surfaces. Like a terribly old house that once had beauty, but has been left alone for far too long.

Once you get to the top, you see a hallway of doors, thirteen to be exact. Still with the worn Victorian feel. You decide to try each handle to see if one opens. You try the first one on your right. You grip the handle and turn. But nothing moves. You turn around and try the door right across from you. Yet again, nothing. You continue to try each door. Each handle is the same as the first. None of them open—until the last one.

You grab the last handle, twist, and open that door. Inside you find a brightly lit, white room. It seems so different from the hallway of doors you were just in. This room reminds you of a hospital room, really clean and sterile—though it's empty, except for a door in front of you. You slowly walk forward. You look around, trying to grasp how you made it into a completely different setting. You find yourself in front of the door and hesitate opening it. What's going to be on the other side?

You finally open the door to find... a set of stairs. These stairs look very similar to the first set of stairs you found yourself near in the beginning. You turn around and look back to the door you came through, but it's vanished—there's nowhere else to go other than forward.

You walk up to the stairs. You can't see what's at the top. You can only hope that it's something different. Something new. You slowly start up the stairs. They creak as you take a step. Higher and higher you climb till you reach the top. And at the top of those stairs is another hallway of doors.

Something feels off. Didn't you just see a hallway of doors? This one looks very similar, if not the same as the last one. Maybe you got turned around... You look behind you, down the set of stairs. But you can't actually see anything. Everything after the first five steps has faded into darkness behind you. So dark it's almost black.

So instead of turning back, you decide to move forward. You decide to test all these doors just like the first hallway of doors. You start with the door to your right, trying the handle to see if it opens. But just like the first door in the first hallway, this one doesn't open. So you move to the one across from it and you try the handle on that door. But this handle doesn't open the door either. Again, you make it through each door with none of them opening—until the last door. You are hesitant to open the door. Anything is possible. You just hope it's not what you think it is.

Unfortunately, you open the door and are greeted with another brightly lit, white room. And just like the first one it, too, is empty. Except for a door in front of you. This is strange. How did you make it back to the first white room? You didn't turn around, did you? Unless this isn't the first white room again. Does that mean there are more white rooms?

You walk to the other side of the room and stop in front of the door. Do you dare open it? You feel like you already know what is on the other side. But you won't know unless you open the door.
