LIFE WITHIN A LIFE...I AM LOST!!!

Chapter 3 :: Stella's Agony

After the  week end .....
Lisa entered her classroom looking  for Sophia. She found her sitting on a bench quietly which was certainly a weird situation because it is really hard to find a person like Sophia  so full of life sitting quietly !!.
Lisa sat beside her and found her best friend’s eyes wet. She sat next to her and asked “hey Sophia..  what happened? why are you crying? please tell me”.
Sophia looked deep into Lisa’s eyes and said “Stella is not as lucky as me to have a friend like you!”. Lisa held Sophia’s hand and started crying again. She asked Lisa “remember I had told you that my twin sister is going to her first party during the last weekend with the  theme as fashion disaster?”. Lisa replied “oh yeah. what happened there?”.
Sophia said “Actually it was a prank played by her friends to humiliate her. She got dressed up apt for the theme and went fully excited only to find herself   disastrously dressed among all the other gorgeously dressed people. As soon as she entered the party hall everyone started laughing and from her rear, someone poured ice cold water all over her”.
  Everyone started pestering her and commented about her dressing sense. She could not take it anymore, she ran out of the party and returned home dejected. Now she is not talking to anyone and just stays all by herself in her room. She appears to have lost trust in everyone including me.”
Lisa did not know how to react to the incident but was deeply disturbed by it. She also noted this incident in her diary though in no way she was remotely connected to this incident.

As the days passed by, Stella became the main topic of conversation between Sophia and Lisa.
Sophia told her friend about how her twin sister is getting depressed day by day, thinking about the same old incident and that she has stopped talking to everyone and she locks herself in her room to stay all alone.
Sophia said that her parents went and complained against those girls and got them suspended. But in no way this helped Stella, as she had completely lost faith in everyone be it her friends, teachers, parents and even her own  sister Sophia. Stella started getting prank calls from those girls who were suspended, which further disturbed her.
Hearing the agony of Stella , Lisa felt really bad. She did not know what to do to cheer up her friend and her twin sister.
The next day Sophia did not come to School. After returning home, Lisa called Sophia to enquire as to why she was absent. It was then that she got to know that Stella had attempted suicide by cutting her wrist, was admitted to hospital and that now she is out of danger.
Hearing this news Lisa started hating Stella’s friends more for getting her into such a situation and wrote her feelings in the dairy as usual.
