My alarm interrupts my sleep, I'm normally a calm person in the morning but today was different . Not only had I moved house , but I also moved school and I'm not going to explain why I moved , it's all over now .I hope .

I sit up and look around , my room was grey and looked like it was missing something but I can't  think what it is . "Y/N has your alarm gone off yet ? It's time for school soon , breakfast is ready ." My mom called loudly from downstairs .
" Yeah it went off a few minutes ago , I'm coming ."
I shorty replied . I clambered out of bed and almost tripped over Dexter ,who was sleeping in a tiny ball next to my bed, causing me to hit my wrist on my bed post . "Great ." I sighed seeing that there was now a bruise on my wrist . I went downstairs .

"Hi." I smiled at my bedraggled looking family .
"Morning kiddo , how did you sleep?" My dad replied fluffing up my hair.
" Alright, while it lasted ." I moaned getting the  Cheerios from next to Ashley .
" Hi Ashley." I said to my anti social sister .
"Yo ."
"How's Alex doing?" I asked her , even though it had been only two days since they last saw each other, it was obvious Ashley missed her boyfriend a load .
"Good." She said still looking at her phone, her main priority.  As I picked up my spoon mom noticed my wrist .
"Y/N what happened to your wrist? Is it okay? " Mom said looking upset.
"I banged it on my bed post , I nearly tripped over dexter and it's alright ." I smiled.
Ashley snorted . I just ignored her . I finished my Cheerios and went back to brush my teeth and get dressed . Even though my room was empty , my wardrobe certainly wasn't . I wasn't looking for much attention today so I didn't wear anything spectacular , just a black  t- shirt ,skinny jeans and some superstars . I tied up my long blonde hair and put it into two braids . It was 30 mins until school and it took 5 minutes to walk to school so I had enough time . I went on my snapchat and took a picture of my jeans captioning it " first day 😩😊" my caption described how I felt I was scared, more scared then most people would have been , but then I was also really excited , to get away from my past maybe this would be a better experience for me ,  and Ashley . It was partly because of Ashley that we moved schools , she was always the most popular person there , there wasn't one boy that she hadn't dated even if they were geeks , her rebellious attitude got her into so much trouble but she always  said that "it was just for the banta" I think she meant boys but I never told her that .

The 30 minutes went by until it was time to  go to school , I kissed dexter and my parents good bye and started to walk down the road with Ashley her outfit wasn't very subtle , a crop top and a pair of super short shorts and Adidas shoes , probably for trying to get some boys .

A few moments later a boy about my age was on the other side of the road , he didn't see me but he was gorgeous I couldn't help but stare at him .
"Are you even listening to me ! Hello? Miss Lovebird ?!" Ashley yelled . She was so loud that the boy I was staring at turned around and let out  a small chuckle , I think he caught me staring .
"Y/N!" Ashley yelled once more.
"Yeah ."
"I was telling you that I will meet you outside the reception after school , yeah?" Ashley said glancing at her long false nails.
"Yeah , sure, of course " I stuttered . If he saw me I will not forgive myself for being a fool . He disappeared.
