Chapter 4: New Home

The wolves obeyed, we retreated. I could hear how the Lunar Pack mocked us saying that we we're weak.

"W...Was that the war? Did we lose?"I asked Clavus, and he shook his head. "No, Maéla just wanted to... Have a quick fight to weaken us... The real battle is far away from the words "it has begun" He said as he walked away. Then he jumped on a big rock. "Everyone listen up! The Lunar pack might have conquered our home, but we'll find a new one. I'm so sorry for my actions. They we're childish. Now, we will win this war!" He said, and everyone exulted.

"No, your actions weren't childish. Instead of fleeing right away, you fighted back." I smiled. Wow, the first not dumb thing I had said this week! "Thanks. Julia. But now, let's find a new home." He said, and so we started our journey.

Hours has passed and I was exhausted, the others was exhausted too, and some not. The pups we're annoying their mothers by repeating: "Are we there yet are we there yet?"

And at my surprise, yes, we was. It was a beautiful landscape, with tall grass, flowers and a few trees. The territory seems to be abadoned. "This...This is our new home!" Clavus smiled, and the others exulted. Me too, wow, this was so amazing! It was a river nearby too!

Then we all started to run around in our new home, the territory was so big and spacious! Clavus marked the territory, then he howled. "Now, we are gonna win this war! Together!" He howled. And everyone howled with him. "Yes!" I exclaimed as I laughed. Then I decided to go to the river, I was still exhausted! So I walked down to the river and took a sip. Mmmm... Fresh water.

Then someone pushed me down in the river! It was of course Lilac... "Stupid cunt! Get out of my way! I'm actually thirsty here!" She snarled. Her white pelt was perfect... And her baby blue eyes, no one could say no to them. Except me of course. "Stop treating me like shit Lilac!" I growled. "Don't you dare to growl at me! And you are shit!" She laughed, and I left.

Damn you Lilac. I think I need to give her a nickname. Maybe Libitch? Yes, Libitch. Hehe.

"I might be shit, but you're worse." I giggled and left. And Libitch seemed to get red in her face by rage. I walked back to the camp. Clavus was digging a den since this place had none. And of course, he paused. "Everyone..." He mumbled, and even the wolves with the worse ears heard what he said, we all listened to him. "Today, we're going to bury my beloved mate, Lerna..." And if you listened carefully, you could hear sobbing sounds.

"But how!? We...We left our alpha at our old, but it's now the Lunar pack's territory..." Dagger said. "I know, that's why we got to find her. And bury her... My mate..." And now, you could clearly see a tear rolling down from his cheek, I felt so bad for him.... But i could do nothing. I sighed of my comforting experience and looked up at the clear blue sky. "Tomorrow, Tomorrow we will find her." Clavus added after a few silent seconds.

I just nodded, even if no one saw me. Those sick Lunar bastards are gonna pay. Lerna was always kind and caring, she loved Clavus, and Clavus loved her back. They didn't have any pups. It was kinda sad, I had always been shipping them when I was just a little pup and hoped they would get pups. Lerna was respected. And her death wasn't as peaceful at all. The Lunar pack, I, Julia, from the Creek Pack, will get my revenge.

But when the moon and darkness had come Clavus was already done with his den. And I will miss my best sleeping spot. But oh well, there is many trees here. I just find one. And I did. Then, I slowly closed my eyes. "Yes... Tomorrow..." I mumbled.
