The sun was shining through the branches of the trees. The mud on the ground where floating around my feet. Here and there could I hear birds singing their beautiful melodies. I wondered how long I had been walking around in the forest, when I suddenly heard the blasting of car horns not so far away. I began to run. The wind blowed through my hair as I ran. I thought I had been running forever, when the forest ended and opened up to a gigantic field. On the other side of the field a few houses of stone, bricks and wood was scattered out. The cars I had heard before drove either through the town or on a big road going from the town over the hills, to a..... city? Then I understod. The city further away was London. The place I wanted to go to. In my moment of victory I suddenly realised something. The sun was near the horizon, and the night was near. I wouldn't have enough time to walk all the way to London. I had to stay in the town. Which meant I had to find a place to stay. I began walking over the field.
Ten minutes later
I walked through the towns main gate. As I had thought, the sun was almost down. When I had walked around for a bit, I realised that all of the doors on the houses were locked and every person in the city was inside, probably asleep. This left me with no other option than to sleep on the street. But I had done it so many times now that I didn't care anymore. I settled down in a small alley that went between the main street and a park. Only a few seconds later my eyelids fell down in front of my eyes and darkness and sleep took me in it's arms. And I fell asleep.
