The trees flew by outside the window, due to the trains speed, an incredible 50 km per hour. I where almost alone in this part of the train, and the silence made me uncomfortable. An old lady, and a young boy that was with her, probably her grandson, where my only companions in this carriage. I felt how my stomach growled. I where really hungry now, I had not eaten since yesterday night. The train drove over a small hill, and my stomach turned. I felt how the awfullnes began to rise inside of me. Suddenly, the train pulled up by a small station. Outside the window could I see a couple waiting in the rain. The rest of the station was almost empty.
Just a couple of seconds later, a voice from an old man traveled through the hallway, and into the carriage.
"Tickets please, tickets please!" The deep voice shouted. I jumped out of my seat, but to not look suspicious, pulled I my hat down infront of my eyes. Then I made my way to the door at the back of the train, that would lead me out, of from the train. I grabbed the handle, and pushed the door open. The train had slowly begun to move again so I where shaking a little. When I heard the footsteps of the 'guard' come closer, I took a deep breath. And I jumped. Just seconds later, as I hit the grass and my face got all wet, the train began to pick up speed. I quickly stood up and made my way of the train track, out into the forest. Now I would have to find another way to London...
