Leo's POV
It is now Thursday and has been 5 days counting today that I have not seen Sabrina. We chat on the phone but it isn't the same.
I muster all my courage and convince myself to call her.
"Hi Sabrina!"
"Hey Leo, how are you?"
"I'm good...look before I say what I'm about to just remember I am completely nervous and all my courage has been poured into this simple question I'm about to ask you,"
"Ask away," She comforts me.
"Would you go out with me again tomorrow afternoon, like at 5 for a sunset walk on the beach?"
"That sounds awesome, I would love to! Don't forget to pick me up!" She reminds me."I won't! See you then bye!" I smile into the phone.
"Byye!" She laughs. My excitement is evident throughout every inch of my body as I grin to myself
-
The next day.
I watch myself as I punch an imaginary sparring partner in the mirror to calm my nerves.
I've already been on two dates with this chick and I'm more nervous than our first and I don't know why.
There's just some feeling. Something is going to happen today and I hope it's a good thing.
As I was on my way to Sabrina's I grew more anxious. She is so out of my league and she's beautiful. I don't deserve her.
I got to her house and rang the doorbell and she was down the driveway within seconds.
I grabbed her in my arms and spun her around and earned a happy giggle.
Sabrina's POV
Once Leo put me down I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he blushed a bit.
He helped me into the car as he would and then got in himself.
As we drove to the beach he asked me how my week was and how I was feeling and he added in that we're going to one of his secret hiding places on the beach, like a mini one between some rocks that nobody comes by.
I have been so antsy all day just waiting for this date. I can't believe we're going to a private spot on the beach.
Once we arrived Leo helped me out and casually slid his hand into mine and lead the way.
"I downloaded all your songs this week and they're really good!" Leo gushes, tightening his grip on my hand as we step down some rocks and never loosening it again.
"Thank you, that means so much," I smile, looking up at him.
We jump down our last set of rocks and carry on walking in the sand and I take my boots off. Leo offers to carry them but I don't let him."I keep my eyes wide open!" Leo sings...or screeches.
"Stop stop!" I joke.
"Okaay, I can't torture you for long!" He winks.
We turn a corner and hidden behind rocks is a beautiful set of waves and a picnic with two guitars.
"Leo!" I squeal, " This is BE-YOU-TIFUL!" I say pointing at him on the 'YOU' part."It's nothing really, I told you I'd hold you to that guitar thing...'nd you know I just thought I'd do something special for you," He smiles sheepishly.
"Like this last week hasn't been special Leo. But I agree with you, this is beyond," I squeal.
"I'm glad you like it," He chuckles.
"I love it!"As Leo led me over to the picnic he stared at me with happy eyes.
We both sat down together and stared at the now orangey sky.He picks out some food, mostly healthy but some unhealthy things for me.
"The fact that you packed unhealthy food says a lot," I laugh.
"I know right, I had lots to explain to my dad," He chuckles.I grab a chocolate strawberry, a combination of our favourites and as I'm about to pop it in my mouth Leo grabs it out my hand and takes a bite.
"Hey!" I screech. He sends a smirk in my direction and feeds me the rest of the strawberry."C'mon I need to tell you something," I sigh, getting up and walking towards the water.
"What is it?" He says, catching up to me.
"Liv was meant to be speaking to Bradley while I was on my dates with you, to find out what he thought of our mess..." I admit.
"Oh." Leo sighs.
"I'm sorry, I just...you know he was my first boyfriend...and I'm an idiot!" I groan as I face palm myself.I crouch down and feel as if I'm about to cry.
"Hey!" Leo says softly as he lifts me up.
"You aren't an idiot," He says softly again, removing my hands from my face.
"I'm-"
"No you're- SHIT!" Leo yells as a giant wave comes toward us.He tries to pull me with him but it's too late, the wave already smashed me to the ground and I am sopping.
Leo stifles yet another laugh as he helps me up. "Oh my holy shit, I am sopping!" I cry.
"It's all right, we can work something out..." Leo says looking at a wall of rocks."Here," He says, pulling his shirt over his shoulders and handing it to me.
I think my eyes are the size of sauce pans as I rake my eyes over his naked torso."Uh...thanks!" I say and walk behind the rock wall.
I quickly get changed into his shirt, keeping my wet underwear on. I didn't care if he saw me like this, his shirt is like a dress on me anyway.I come out from behind the rock wall with my bundle of wet clothes and place them on the corner of the blanket we had to sit on.
"I can't help but feel like even more of an idiot," I sigh as I walk over to him again.
"Why?" He questions, eyebrows furrowed.
"Because you bring me here, you help me when I fall down, you do all of this and I haven't done anything..." I trail off.Leo takes my chin in between his thumb and index finger and tilts my chin up to look at him.
"Don't say that," He whispers as he leans his head down.I knew what was coming from a mile away when his lips inched towards mine.
When they touched, chills invaded every inch of my body. His lips were soft and they felt so wonderful. His lips press harder against mine and I can't help but smile, literally smile. He kisses that too, without lifting his mouth from mine.
He pulls away and wraps his arms around me.
"You're not an idiot..." He whispers to me.-
