Misunderstood

cause i'm special

Me and George made it to the carriage in time and we all set of for the castle- i didn't ask about the black horsey things cause i thought it was probably a stupid question to them

Instead we just talked about pranks and stuff the boys were planning- I could think of better.

We get to the top and i don't even bother to look around and take it in, i'll see it all year anyway. We just walked along talking about nothing special when a Min came up to us "Jamie, Dumbledor wants to see you in his office as soon as you make it to the castle, so just go straight up" she says and i nod and she walks off again looking for first years no doubt

"Hey, there's the castle" i say and look at the big ass castle in front of me, i wasn't really taking back by its bigness cause i've been here before, with Mcgonagall and Dumbledor just you know for meetings and shit.

"thank you captain obvious" Lee says and i laugh "welcome Sargent sarcasm" i say back and he laughs "your alright you know Jem" he says and smiles,

has everyone got a nick name for me now?

we walk into the castle doors and i look at them "Well i need to go and see Dumbledor, cause you know i'm special and all" i say and start to make way to Dumbledors office then George pulls me back

"yes?" i question

"Do you know were your going?" he ask and i smile

"Of course i do Georgina, don't worry" i say and pat him on the head before continuing my journey to Dumbledor.

I get to the birdy thing and realise i have no idea what the password is,but i feel like ice cream so imma try that "Ice cream" i say and the stairs start to rise,

yeah i'm pretty sure its only me that happens for .

I push open the big doors and go inside his office where he's sat at the desk "Hey Dumbledor, Min said you wanted me." i say and take a seat across from him, i put my feet on his desk and make myself at home

"yes, i also have the feeling that this will not be the last time your in my office will it Jamie?" i smile and shrug

"Probably not, so... why am i here?" i ask

"because Mrs Black, i decided it would be best to sort you before all the first years, to avoid you some embarrassment" he says

"i dont get embarrassed sir" i say and he chuckles slightly

"of course not, but i think its best we still give you a special sorting, just for you." he says and smiles

"Ha! i told the boys i'm special ." i say and smile triumphantly

"yes, you are. Now you know the sorting hat well so lets get you into a house yes?" he says and i nod.

He hands me the hat and i place it on my head

"Ahh Jamie, nice to see you again. Now lets see,  hmm interesting you seem very loud and brave, would be willing to stand up for overs easily. Very smart too and cunning and possess good quality's of a witch but you are hiding what you feel to others, your different to but are not afraid of it. But your whitty and have a lot of snide comments and a colorful vocabulary too, hmm what to do?-"

Damn i told George i was going to be in Slytherin but no 'im George Weasley im amazing, im the bes-

"Well, since the bravery can out run the whit and sarcasm, i put you in..... GRYFFINDOR"

.... 'im a know it all BITCH!'

i smile brightly as Dumbledor takes the hat off my head "well you are now ready for your return to the grate hall, why dont you change into your Gryfindor robes and meet join your class mates" i smile and nod before getting out my wand and changing into my Griffindor robes,

i smile at dumbledor again and walk back down the stairs to find Min waiting

"Well done dear, welcome to Griffindor, you shall enter with the first years and make your way to your given table and sit down with your house mates. you can, if you wish, tell people how you were sorted its up to you" she says as we walk towards the grate hall

"cool" i say just as we reach the 1st years and she smiles and walks off telling them about them being sorted and shit,

i walk to the back of them all and see a little girl looking at me quite scared "dude, i don't bite" i say, she nods "w-why are you so tall?" she asks and i laugh this could be funny

"i'm a giant" i say and smirk

"Really?!?" she asks and i laugh a her 

"no, i'm a fifth year" i say and she blushes a little "I'm Jamie" i smile and put my hand out

"I'm Alex" she smiles taking my hand "nice to meet you" i say and then the hall doors open and we walk in

"Bye Alex,good luck" i say and she waves and mouths a thank you.

I look  for the Griffindor table and see two red heads and Lee all sitting together and waving like idiots, then there was the other trio being normal and just smiling at me. I laugh and make my way towards them, i push the twins apart and sit between them

"Hey, your back!" Fred says

"We're did you go" George asks

 "I went to get sorted in dumbledors office cause im special and shit" i say and smirk at them

"Well we knew you were special alright" Fred says and i smack him

"Bitch" i say and trun to see Ron with a face lik a smacked arse

"Whats up with your face?" i say and he shakes his head and smiles "so your in Gryffindor then?" he asks

"No Ron, i sat here for the fun of it, im really a Slytherin" i say, my voice dripping with sarcasm,

"of course i am you boob" i say and his face turns bright red

"i think you'd be a grate Slytherin" i hear from behind me, i turn around to see that blonde kid again Draco?

"Hey, its you again! i want to say Draco?" i say and he smiles "yeah that's right" he says and i laugh "well, its good to see you again then" i say and he smirks "you too" he says and i turn back around to find everyone looking at me.

"What did I do?" i ask and Lee speaks up "How do YOU know Draco Malfoy?" he asks and i shrug

"I've ran into him a few times in Diagonally" i say,

"Don't worry, i still love you guys" i say and laugh "awwh Jamie" Fred says and pulls me into a hug ruffling my hair, i slap his shoulder and he laughs before turning and starting a conversation with some girl who i think is  Angelina,

i turn to George "I told you you wouldn't be in  slytherin and we wouldn't abandon you"he says with a grin

"Yes you were right, your a know it all bitch" i say and he laughs

"So do i get a hug?" he asks and i laugh as he pulls me in for one anyway, for about 8 seconds i felt like everything was okay,

like nothing could ruin the moment- except Dumbledors speech, that did.

Once his little speech was over food appeared in front of us and I picked anything that was sweet and high in sugar earning me some strange looks "what? i like sugar. Don't judge me" i say and they turn away

"Okay, just go steady" George says as i start on my 3rd peace of cake "yeah whatever, health and safety and shit, i know, i know" i say and he shakes his head and goes back to his food.

"Dude, i like chocolate and cake and anything else high in sugar, get used to it" i say and he raises an eyebrow "oh dude come on,smile" i say and he does and then carries on with his food again starting a light conversation.
