Misunderstood

My letter and a trip to diagonally

I opened my letter and read it then looked over to Min "looks like were going to Diagonally today" i say to her and she nods,

i smile at her "i'll go and get my wand and backpack" i say before running upstairs and into my Bedroom i grab everything i need and make my way down stairs where Min is waiting for me with the flu powder

"you go first dear, i'll be right behind you" she said and i stepped into the fireplace and grabbed a hand full of the powder

"diagonally!" i say and then im standing in Flourish and Boltts  i step out of the fireplace and Mcgonagall appeared

"stay here i'll go and get your books okay?" she asks and i nod and watch her walk off

"Hey" someone says and i turn around and see a kid with white blonde hair "hi" i say and look away- i'm not really in a people kind of mood.

"I'm Draco, whats your name?" the kid asks again and i turn back around to face him

 "if i tell you will you go?" i ask looking at him and he kind of smirked and nodded

"I'm Jamie, off you go now little blonde boy"  i say and shoo him away with my hand and thankfully he goes

"right, i'm back we just need to get you a new broom now, i have everything else back at home" Min says when she comes back.

She hands me my books and we walk off again and after we get my broom we make our way home and Min tells me to pack cause she will be taking me to the leaky cauldron tomorrow and that i would stay there for a week or two before boarding the train to hogwarts, she has to go early to get everything in order.

I run upstairs and get changed into my pjs and set out my clothes for tomorrow before packing my clothes away in my trunk. I then go back down stairs to find min sat with supper out we ate and talked a little before i asked the question that i had been wondering for the last 5 years "Min, why am i only starting Hogwarts in my 5th year?" i ask and look at her across the table and she smiles

"Dumbledor thought that it would be best and don't ask me why, i have never understood  what goes on in that mans head" she said and i dropped the topic realizing i wasn't going to get nowhere with my questioning.

I put my dishes in the sink and said goodnight to Min before going up to bed and falling into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up the next morning before the sun and no matter how hard i tried couldn't fall back to sleep, when i finally gave up i went to sit at the window and think about, well, everything.

My mum and dad, and the few memories i had of us all together,

Min and the way she took me in after the death of my mother,

the man who had found me crying after she died,

he took me to dumbledor- i was frail and i was broken,who am i kidding? i still am

the promise i made to myself never to let anyone close enough to hurt me again when they leave.

I was sat there until sunrise when i finally decided to get dressed and ready for the leaky cauldron i put on a pair of white ripped jeans and a cut out grey jumper with a heart in the middle  and put poppy into her cadge.

I put on my mothers Bracelet and grabbed my bag an put all my books inside it i had put a spell on it so that i can put pretty much anything in it and would still have room for more

.I then put my wand in my boot and walked down stairs at about nine and poured myself a bowl of cereal and sitting down across from Min.

"Ready to go" she asked once i finished i nodded and went up stairs to get Poppy, my bag and my trunk.
