the truth

jason’s pov:
 
Throughout the whole day all I taught was.
Damn that girl can run.
When she got off the floor and ran i got up and ran after her but let me tell you this. I taught it would be easy since she’s a girl but boy was I wrong.

Once I got home I taught about what I told Kat. Yeah I was going to get her back but by teasing her. You know what I mean right ;)
I got back to our house I saw all the guys on the couch being lazy fuckers as always. I walked up to my room and had a quick shower and changed into some black jeans and a white v-neck shirt and a black hoodie with black supras. I grabbed my phone and walked out the door. Before I could shut it I heard Alex where I was going. I told him I’ll be out a little while and not to wait up for me. I shut the door behind em and started to walk to cats house.
(Skip the walk)
Once I got to her door I knocked on it and there was no answer. I knocked a couple of times more but still no answer. She might be sleeping. I taught. I was about to knock once more but then I saw Kats head pop out of the corner. I smirked at her but soon i dropped that smirk off when I saw her face. She looked terrified and worried.
“Hey Kat what’s-
I was cut off by Kat speaking.
“Omg thank god Jason! Got in here now!” she said pulling me in and locking the door.
I taught I might as well mess with her.
“Locking the door I see. Hmm I like the way you think” I say winking
“Shut up Jason I seriously need to talk to you its important” she says in a worried tone
I had a feeling this involved me...
 
 
Kats pov:
 
I made him sit down on the couch and sat next to him.
“Jason I’m going to ask this once and I want the truth. Are you hiding anything from me?” I ask
“Maybe but you don’t need to know them things” he says truthfully.
“Well maybe I do because I keep getting creepy text and its freaking me out” I say
“And that go to do with all this how?”
I sighed and gave him the phone while he scrolled through the messages. I saw his eyes widen a little while he was reading the text and I saw his eyes go that brown colour again.
“Who’s been sending you these?!” he yelled abit
“I-I d-don’t k-know” I say truthfully
“Jason do you know who it is?” I asked looking at him
“Yeah I think I know who this bastard is” he says through gritted teeth.
“w-who” I stutter
He didn’t reply. I just looked at me while he kept re-reading the texts.
“Look Kat you need to promise me to try and stay safe ok!” Jason says grabbing my shoulder in process
I nod but still look at him confused and I think he can tell why. I wanted answers and he knew exactly what kind of answers I was looking for.
“Look Kat it’s a long story...” he says
“Well I’ve got time” I say looking him straight in the yes.
I swear his eyes were just amazing and it’s so hard to look away from them.
Wait what! Shut up Kat. Don’t start growing feelings for this guy! I taught to myself.
“Ok fine I’ll tell you but you have to promise not to tell anyone this. Because if y do your dead you hear me!” he says sternly
I just nod at him and wait for him to go on.
 
 
Jason’s pov:
 
I don’t trust her fully but to be honest she needed to know so I knew I had to tell her.
“Ok look here’s the thing. I’m in...A...gang. Well to be specific I’m a leader of a gang called ‘the blood devils’. This gang is like my family to be honest. We do the usual drugs and killing but we don’t kill anyone we just kill people who try to mess with us with their gangs. There’s been this gang which has been after us for a while now. The guy who was running after you. Well yeah he is part of that gang and I’m assuming he’s the one who is sending you these texts. Since he saw you with me he thinks that its ok to mess with you but seriously you don’t need to worry about it because as far as I’m concerned he won’t e coming anywhere near you. Well yeah that’s about all you need to know. To be honest I really aint sure why they want you but don’t worry I won’t let them have you ok?”
She sat there just looking at me not saying anything. This was a bad sign.
 
Kats pov:
 
I didn’t know what to say. I mean he’s a bloody criminal. I don’t know what to say other than that. Once he finished what he was saying I had no idea what to say back. People are after me and I don’t even know why. They want me for some reason.  I just sat there taking in all of what he just said. Sooner or later I just nodded. I mean I know I should be scared of him but for some reason I aint. I don’t know why but I just aint.  I looked at Jason who was looking at me already waiting for me to say something.
“I um I don’t know what to say to be honest” I say truthfully
“It’s ok I understand but what I don’t understand is why aren’t you throwing things at me or like scared of me?”  He asked
I felt myself smile for dome reason. I mean yeah I know he’s a criminal and all but why would I throw things at him?
“Urmm why would I do that?” I asked confused
“Because most girls do that when I tell them all that”
“Well I aint like most girls” I say winking
To be honest I wasn’t that scared anymore because if knew Jason would be here to help me if anything happened.
I looked at the clock and saw it was 10pm already. Damn how long have we been sitting here for? I got up and started to walk to my room.
“Um where are you going?” asked Jason
“To my room?”
“Oh um ok I guess I’ll be off then.” He says
And then suddenly I felt all scared again.
“c ya” he says twisting the door knob.
“WAIT!” I shout
“Yeah?”
“Um can you please stay since no one is at home and um... I’m kind of scared” I say feeling abit embarrassing
“Yeah sure” he says chuckling.
I smile ad carry on walking to my room. Seconds later Jason comes in and sits on my bed.
“Um what do you think you \r doing?” I ask
“Sitting down?”
I hate when someone sits on my bed without my permission. I know i sound snobby but i just don’t like it.
“Urmm sorry no get up please” I say abit rudely
He stands up and scratches the back of his neck.
“Well ok um where am I suppose to be sleeping?” he asks
“In the guest room. Come on I’ll show you the way” I say
“Aww I taught id be sleeping in bed with you” he says winking
“Shut up Jason” I say laughing
I showed him the guest room and went back to my room and got changed intothis. After that I got under the covers and shut the light.
A couple of minutes past and I just couldn’t sleep. I kept hearing noises outside and it just scared me. I was seriously scared and didn’t know what to do.
I got out of bed and did the only thing could. I walked into where Jason was sleeping.
I knocked on the door before I came in...
 
 
Jason’s pov:
 
I heard someone knock on the door and opened my eyes to see Kat standing there in her pj’s. She looked cute.
“Um Jason can I sleep here with you please? I’m scared”
I let out a small chuckled and made space for her. I wrapped one arm around her waist and she shuffled more towards me and rested her hand on my chest and just like that both of us fell asleep...

kats pov:

i quickly got under the covers and was thankful he didnt see my cuts. to be honest i didnt want more shit to happen and i knew it would if he saw them. jason put his arm around em and i snuggles closer to him and soon enough we both fell asleep...
