Showing Love Through Motion

After I found out

It was the week I was trying out for So You Think You Can Dance. I was auditioning on Sunday and it was Monday already. After I found out I didn't make the show, I haven't been at the studio getting ready for my other audition. I know that that's bad an all, but I kept thinking "if they didn't like me enough to put me in the show what makes you think I can do So You Think You Can Dance." This has been something I've wanted for so long, but not making the "reality" show made me think that I wouldn't have a chance. I forgot about all those negative thoughts I had and realized I need to work, and now!

I got to the studio and it was completely empty. Nobody was there expect the person who cleans the place. Not a dance teacher nor a dancer in sight. This is the kind of thing I loved the most. A place where I can be alone for awhile and just focus on my dance. It was so peaceful and just a great place to have music going and just going along with it while nobody is staring at you through the windows!

I went to the biggest dance room we had and thankfully nobody was supposed to dance in there today! It was reserved for the whole week just to me. Well reserved for the past week or so, but I still have this week in this room. I plugged my iPod into the dock and pressed shuffle. I needed to stretch so that was the first thing to do! Stretch for a good 30 minutes or possibly more, just depends on how I feel.

After I stretched for an hour ( more than planned ) I needed to decide what type on genre I was going to do for the audition. I love Jazz, but I also love Contemporary. I know there will be a lot on contemporary people there and just a few jazz people. But I decided I would do the best for me and that would be contemporary!

I went to my iPod on my phone and clicked the playlist Contemporary and pressed shuffle. I danced to about 10 songs and still hasn't figured out what song to do! I had 3 good ones in mind 1) Gravity by Sara Bareilles

3) Meant Elizaveta
