I got home and was cooking dinner when I heard a knock on my door.I went to go see who it was. It was my parents.

"Surprise honey" My mom said as she came in and gave me a hug.

"Hey sweetie" my dad came and hugged me.

" Hey Guys"

"I'm sorry we came here on short notice but e have to talk to you about something" my dad said.

"What is it"? I asked with hesitation.

"Your dads business is going bankrupt, but we have a friend who has a booming business and he is willing to link our businesses and pull us out."my mother said.

"Ok, I think you should go for it."

"There is one condition."

"What is it"?

"What do you mean I have to marry his son. I won't do it."

"I already told him that you would Lisa, and he has already signed the papers to merge our comanies, so you have to." My mom said.

"I can't believe you guys would do that to me".

"We're sorry honey please forgive us."

"No I don't think I can ."

"Please honey believe us if there was any other way we would have done it, please it is the only chance we have from going bankrupt you have to do this."

"I think you guys need to leave, I need to be alone."

"Please think about it honey".

"JUST GET OUT!!"

I cant believe it, what did they think was going to happen?I was just going to accept it and smile and be happy that they arranged a marriage for em without telling me.That is not how it works.AHHHH.

I need a long and hot bath. I thought as i went in to my bedroom and went to take a bath.I got out of the tub and went to get my pjs when my phone went off.

"Hello"

"I need you to come into the office early tomorrow morning to go over our presentation for the Hilenberger's investment plan. "James said over the phone.

"Ok". 

"Thank you".

I hung up the phone and climbed onto bed. ''''What am I going to do ?!! I cant not marry the guy because my parents cant afford to be bankrupt''''.

I woke up refreshed and felt energized and like nothing could ruin my day.

"Hey mom its lisa"!

"Hey Lis, whats going on?"

"Well I have been thinking about the marriage deal and I think if it is the only way to save your business then I will do it".

"Really ? Thank You honey. This means a lot to your father and I."

"Alright Mom I got to go now I need to go to work."

"Ok I will let you go , I love you sweetie."

"I love you to mom".

I arrived at work and when I got to James and my office he wasn't there. I went to the receptionist and asked if he had come in and she told me he got here but got pulled out for an event.

"Why didnt he tell me?"

"Lisa, are you busy ?"

"Mom !?! What are you doing here?"

"We need to go your future husband wants to meet you and asked to meet him for lunch".

" Will you let Mr. Hiddleston know that I had to step out for a family matter when he gets back."

"Yes, I will".

"Thank you"

We arrived at the restaurant and went inside. The waiter took us to a table and we sat down and waited. After about a half hour later someone came in and was brought back to our table.

" Hello , Wonderful to see you again." My mom said

"Like wise Mrs. Donovan". The older man replied." This is my son".
