"You may.. Ahem... Kiss your bride." The priest says, uncomfortably. Cody kisses my cheek, and everyone awes.
And I feel butterflies in my stomach.
Wwhhyy??
We go, dance, eat, and Cody and I are allowed to go home.
He unzips my dress, I throw it in the hamper, and put on leggings and a tee shirt. He looks at me, and smiles.
"I like you better this way. My mom's style just doesn't fit you." I shrug.
"She has style, I'll give her that." I lay down on my bed next to him. "She just picks them at the wrong time." He nods.
"So, wife. What now?" I laugh.
"Tomorrow is competition. I have to explain why I'm wearing a wedding ring to my coach." He laughs.
"Where are you going?" He asks me, playing with my hair.
"Uh, hang on." I pull my phone out.
Private Message: CharBar
Charlie, where are we going tomorrow?
CharBar:
May City. How's the married life 😂I hate you.
CharBar:
You love me. Not that way though. You know what I mean.Yes, Charlie. Night.
CharBar:
Night."May City." I tell Cody, putting my phone on charge.
"Maybe I'll go, with a huge poster." I groan.
"Please don't." I smile. I crawl under the covers, and Cody grabs a blanket from my chair, and covers up.
"G'night, Riles." He yawns.
"G'night, Cody." I lay my head on his chest, and fall asleep immediately.
* Next Day *
I'm on the bus, listening to Lana Del Rey, when my phone buzzes with a FaceTime.
"Hey." I smile.
"Hey, Cody. Aren't you supposed to be sleeping?" I ask him.
"AAWWEE RILEY'S TALKING TO HER HUSBAND!" Charlie yells.
"Hang on." I rip my headphones out, throw my phone down, and slap Charlie.
"What was that for?!" He yells.
"Shut up! The world doesn't need to know my business, Buttwipe!" I growl.
"Child!" He yells back.
"Stealer!" I yell.
"Shut up, you two!" Blake yells.
"You shut up!" Charlie and I yell at Blake. The three of us look at each other, and bust out laughing. I put my headphones in, and pick up my phone. I screenshot Cody's face and go to Twitter.
