"Babe, it'll be okay." He smiles, turning left onto another highway.
"Cody, it is your family. A bunch of Mazes, is not going to be okay. It will be catastrophic." I glare at him.
"My family isn't that bad." He tries to defend.
"Um. Your father scares me. And I see him everyday." He shrugs.
"Okay, I'll give you that one." He takes my hand, and rests it under his on the console.
"So, since I'm newly married to you, how bad is it going to be?" I ask him, playing with his tie.
"Expect no mercy." He mumbles, turning down the road.
"Great." I shift in my seat as we come up to the house.
Scratch that.
Mansion.

Holy crap.
He stops the car, and looks at me.
"We're staying for the weekend. So, if you make enemies.... You're in for a shitty weekend." He kisses me, and gets out, getting our luggage.
"Great. Ohh shit. This is like actual stone. You grew up here?!" I whisper yell to him. He nods, and grins.
"Well. For ten years of my life, I've lived here. Let's go." He leads the way, handing our bags to a butler, and grabbing my hand.
