Lemon here
Leopard's editingNettlebush sighed as he followed Snakethorn out of the warrior's den. He was feeling very unmotivated to patrol borders.
He didn't understand why. He, of course, knew that the Clans wanted to keep what was theirs, theirs. He would much rather if they could all get along, though.
He only felt these feelings surge forward more when he passed Streamscar. The large tabby tom was licking one of many of his scars.
Nettlebush felt a twinge of irritation as Grassbird, a younger she-cat, swooned as Streamscar showed off a large scar on his shoulder. Why did he show off his wounds--something he surely got from fighting over imaginary walls."Nettlebush! Watch where you're going!" snapped Antbriar, who, normally, was a very nice cat.
What's got her all riled up? he thought, apoligizing and quickly stepping out of the way of Antbriar.Nettlebush sighed and picked up his pace, following Snakethorn's long tail through cats gathering around Badgerwish to be part of patrols.
As Nettlebush thought of how the Clans battled so fiercely over small plots of land he started wondering about the young tom he used to be, the tom who would give his life to fight over invisible walls."Nettlebush! Please pay attention," Nettlebush was snapped out of his thoughts as he bumped into Fishfluff's hindquarters.
"S-sorry," Nettlebush apologized and waited for Fishfluff to walk ahead.
Once they got to the ShadowClan border Stormspot raised her tail for everyone to stop."We'll remark the borders and see if anything suspicious is going on, then if not why don't we bring back some prey?"
Nettlebush nodded along with the rest of the patrol. They quickly scattered and started sniffing around and remarking the border.
Nettlebush, instead of going closer to the lake like the majority of the patrol, trotted up to the end of the Clan territories.
He peered over the scent marker of ThunderClan and to the beyond. The sun was rising, making purple and bright pinks invade the deep blue sky, stars quickly vanished and fields below seemed to beckon for Nettlebush.
Nettlebush hurriedly sniffed around where he was, making sure nothing had happened and rushed back to his viewing point.
He stared at it with awe, trying to take in all he could see."Good job! Now why don't we hunt?" Nettlebush could hear Stormspot in the distance.
He, reluctantly, stood and went to the voice. Hunting was okay, he didn't mind hunting.
