calum shifted through his room, opening and closing drawers to try and find his phone; which was blaring some tune that made him want to throw himself down a flight of stairs.

it was thirty-eight minutes past eleven a.m. and the mystery girl was sure to appear in front of the fountain any minute. calum just had to make sure whoever was calling didn't need him to leave because this was the only time his eyes could take in such beauty. 

"god damn it" he cursed under his breath as he grabbed his phone out of his hamper and disapprovingly looked over his now mess-of-a-room.

as he turned his head in the direction of the balcony doors, his feet slowly followed his line of vision and almost immediately reached the reclining chair that sat upon the four-story high porch. 

he quickly threw his head to the side to wipe the hair out of his eyes, to find the girl with a younger boy, maybe eight, with yellow rain boots that covered his lower legs and a red rain jacket. 

the brunette girl, smiled brightly while shaking her hat-covered head as the little boy jumped from puddle to puddle. she carried a plain-black umbrella over her head and every once in a while ran to try and cover the child. 

she was wearing a beige over-sized sweater that reached her mid-thigh and black leggings that clung tightly to her thick legs that made calum swoon with delight. her back was adorned with a black book bag with key chains flopping left and right and small patches meant for jackets stuck randomly onto the dark fabric. small feet filling black booties and hair, curled to perfection, naturally.

her, almost considered basic outfit, was astonishing to calum and he had to look for a pillow to scream into because he could not contain her cuteness.

now, this may seem weird as it is considered stalking, but calum had a sense of security in her and he felt he knew her,

he was just too shy to actually get to know her.
