BFFs (A Rhett and Link Fanfic)

Irreplaceable

This week was crazy. The clone was driving me insane. He kept telling me that he can develop an ability to fly by staring at the microwave. I looked in disbelief and called my scientist friend.
"Hello?" My friends mad voice which sounded like he was sleeping blurted into my ears.
"Hey. Is it normal that my clone thinks he has superpowers?"
"What?"
I repeated my question. Frustrated.
"What? No. That's not normal. At all" He sighed dramatically. "I'll send you another.
The same thing kept happening. Days after days. Link unconscious, Link's clone claiming super powers, sadness and phone calls. I apologised for the lack of GMM and just said that Link wasn't feeling well enough to be on there. And that we need a break. The responds were like a waterfall. They varied from: "We'll be thinking about him", "What's up" and "I hope he's okay". I threw the phone on the sofa and held my rubiks cube and a coloring brush. Coloring each side the same colour because I was too devastated to actually solve it and smiling sadly to myself as I remember when we were filming 'My OCD'. Working with him isn't work. It's always fun. I knew him so well that we are like brothers. Link's clone stood up from his computer and told me that he's developing a super power of knowing what I'm going to say before saying it. I tried my best to convince him that he didn't actually know but it was a fail.
"Time to make some phone calls" I said typing the number and calling my friend. They came in and took his clone. The clone was not really Link. And will never be. It didn't
ease the pain. It made it numb. The worst part was when they took that clone away. He kept shouting and it was heartbreaking to see Link even if it wasn't the real Link in that case. They got the new clone in.
"Hi Link. I'm Rhett. And I'm your best friend." I said smiling. Or better say forcing a smile on my face as I push his glasses on his face.
These clones weren't Link. They'd never be like Link. They'd never be Link.
My best friend is irreplaceable.
