"Mr. McLaughlin?" A deep voice said on the phone. "Yeah?" I knew who that was. It was the nurse assigned as Link's nurse. I was scared. "Please come to the hospital. There's something you must know." I couldn't tell what is the meaning of this. Is it somethig bad? Good? "Okay." I said trying to be positive before calling Christy and asking her to get the kids as well. If it was bad, the kids must see him. If it was good, they'd be happy and it may help him recover. I drove as fast as I can till I reached and ran towards the ICU. The nurse met me and gave me a blank stare. "He isn't in the ICU, Mr. McLaughlin" he said. "So where is he?" I shouted a little bit because I was freaking out. "He's in room 607. But he's suffering from a partial memory loss. We found him shaking in bed and he was probably getting a little aware of the surroundings. He has been calling a Christy, a Lily, a Lincoln and I highly doubt that he meant Abraham Lincoln, a Lando and you, Mr. Rhett McLaughlin. I jumped out of my seat: "He woke up?" The nurse nodded and repeated that he has few memories lost. "Be easy on him. We discovered he had sme kind of a fatal brain illness. It was just a chance that he'd survive." "So he won't?" "Well his illness is a 1 of 10,000 so we don't precisely know but for the ones who had it and wake up, they made it to a full recovery." I nodded and headed to the room. But before I entered I called that crazy friend of mine telling him I don't need another clone. I hurried towards the bed where Link's head was popping from under a blanket and giving me a weird look. He didn't have glasses n so I put his glasses on, smiled wildly for the first time in so long and said: "Hey Link. I'm Rhett. And I'm your best friend"

Author note: So this R&L novel is so weird but it's my thought of BFFs the sketch. Link was sick/injured and Rhett made a clone of him because he didn't want to lose him.. Hope you enjoyed this silly, weird and extremely short FAN FIC. THAT I MAY re create. (May write a better one) -IhaBooks💁👯
