"I WOKE UP LIKE THIS FABULOUS, FABULOUS"
Hitting the snooze button on my alarm clock that was blasting Beyoncé I laid in bed for about another 10 minutes.
Great, another day full of trying to find a job and going to interviews. Sighing I walked to my bathroom that was connected bedroom. I looked into the mirror to see my brown boob length hair looking like a bird's nest and a line of dried drool coming out of my mouth and trailing down to my chin. I saw my blue eyes that looked like a cloudy sky and my eyelashes that where clumped together from me rubbing my eyes last night. I reached for the only tooth brush on the sink counter since I was the only one that lives in this apartment and brushed my teeth. I always thought that standing infront of a sink and brushing your teeth was a waist of time so instead I went to my closet and tried to put together an outfit that would be appropriate for a job interview. I finally decided on a Cher white blouse with a  semi-long, peppered grey shirk that I found in the back of my closet. Looking at the clock o realized I was already late. Quickly throwing my outfit on my bed I ran to the bathroom, rinsed out my mouth, and washed my face in record time. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and then the shower deciding if I really needing one. Smelling my armpits and deciding that I didn't smell that bad I ran to my dresser and got out my makeup. I put on bb cream, mascara, and blush. I decided against a winged liner knowing that it would take me 30 minutes to get the wing to look acceptable. Checking the time again is was now 8:30a.m and my interview was at 9:00 a.m.
"Shit" I yelled. Grabbing everything I need for my interview while running and not having time for coffee I ran out the door. I took my crappy car to the building where my interview was meant to take place. Checking my watch I saw that it was 8:57 a.m. I let out a sigh of relief even though I was not suppose to be this late. I walked in a looked around while walking to the receptionist. I walked infront of the desk but she didn't look up until I let out a fake cough.
"Yes do you need anything" she said in the most fake at voice.
"Yeah, I'm here an interview for the job position of a accountant." I tried to say nicely.
"Your here for a job?" The way she looked me up and down made me think she was thinking that I wasn't good enough to even try getting a job here.
"Yes I am..." I said threw grunted teeth trying not to get mad when u might be working with her.
"Ok well you can just go down the all and turn right. Mr. Wells will be right with you."
Without even saying thanks I walked into the hallway.I looked around and noticed all the fancy people either reading a magazine, doing paper work, or yelling on the phone about more business. Finally I reached the door and say a golden plate on the door with the name Mr. Wells on it and assistant director under it. Knocking on the door and hearing a noise behind the door say and thinking he said come in I walked in to the office. The first thing I noticed when I walked inside was the nice furniture that I couldn't afford even afford for my home and he had it in his office. I looked to the man sitting in his desk and saw that he was kind of cute but nothing I would ever go for.
"Please sit." He said and his voice was deep which was not what I was expecting for such a small guy who looking like he couldn't even kill a fly.
Sitting down without saying a word he decided to go on.
"I'm Mr.Wells but you probably already know that." He said threw a smile.
"Yes and I'm Isabelle Macoy."
"Yes that's something I know, but I have some bad news. My boss already got a someone to fill the position you are sitting in front of me for. Apparently his niece wanted the job and he gave it to her. I'm so sorry for wasting your time I was meant to call you before you came, but I happened to forget."
I sat in front of him speechless wanting to scream in his face that I could do the job better than the niece ever could. I also wanted to smack him in the face because I couldn't yell at him because he was being way to nice. So instead of smacking him in the face and getting dragged out of security I just sat there.
"I know this must be terrible for you and I can see you also wanted the job a lot I am truly sorry." He kept talking, but really I didn't want to hear more I just wanted ice cream and to go home, cry, and ask myself why I decided to move to California.
Finally finding my words I said as calmly as I could,"It's alright I understand even though I did really want this job, but I guess I'll get out of your hair now and just go home."
He didn't say anything just nodding his friend with a simpathetic smile on his face. I walked out the door without saying anything else and closed the door behind me. Exhaling and counting down from 10 I saw my resumé in my hand remembering that I didn't even get to give it to him because I never even had a chance at this job. Crumpling the paper in my out of anger and throwing it away in the only trash can I could see. Quickly walking out of the building trying to leave before the receptionist said anything that could make me crawl over that desk and get into a fight with her. Unfortunately life just doesn't want to give me a break.
"Leaving so soon. Oh did I forget to tell you that you didn't have a chance especially since I can't imagine what you would even write on your résumé."    She said with the most annoying voice and without looking back I could tell she had an ugly smirk on her face. Resisting the urge to go punch her in the face I just flipped her the bird and walked out but the gasp she let out from her lips was enough to make me happy. That was until I REMEBERED why I was leaving.
"Sigh."
Pulling out my phone I searched for a local Ice cream shop and began driving.
