GOTHAM CITY DECLARED A NO MAN'S LAND EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
By the order of the President, Gotham City, New Jersey has been declared a No Man's Land, and therefore no longer a part of the United States of America. The bridges leading to the city have been destroyed, and servicemen and women have been stationed along the coastlines to ensure our nation's safety.
The 7.6 magnitude earthquake that struck Gotham City, in turn caused a breach in Blackgate Penitentiary and Arkham Asylum which has allowed many of their inmates to escape. Because of this, we must protect the rest of the United States by not allowing these criminals to come ashore. Any and all persons trying to cross into Gotham City for any reason will be placed under arrest.
