These wheels suck! I grumble as I spin the wheels of my wheelchair as fast as I can down the streets of Gotham City. I look above me to see the familiar black outline following me.

I smile, "Careful, those buildings won't be so stable now..."

The Black Canary scoffs from above.

"The GCPD station isn't too far away... if there is anyone that can help us, it's them."

"Don't you mean him?" She shouts.

I pause, "Well... not all of Gotham's police force is corrupt..."

She laughs, "You might be a bit biased."

True. Having your stepmother as a police captain and your dad as a former commissioner, yeah... I'd probably be biased. I finally see the remnants of the Police Headquarters in downtown Gotham City. The windows are broken, and I see my stepmom, Sarah, outside of the building with several other officers. "Sarah!"

She turns around and wraps her arms around me in a tight hug, "Barbara!" But she immediately lets me go as her eyes turn to stone, "Why are you out here all on your own?!"

"I can handle myself." I say, as she scowls.

"Sure you can..." She mumbles as she walks me over to the sidewalk where I see my father, James Gordon, sitting on the ground where his longtime friend Harvey is trying to wrap a bandage around my father's head.

"Would you just sit still?" Bullock grumbles as my father slaps down his hand.

"I told you already, I'm fine."

"You were unconscious when I pulled you out, Jim, you gotta let us take care of you."

I wheel up behind him, "I've got it from here, Harv."

Harvey pats my shoulder as he stands up, "Thanks kid, good to see ya."

I smile at him as he walks past, "You too Harvey."

My dad smiles at me as he starts to get up, but immediately my stepmom sits him back down, "Jim, you need to sit down."

"I can't hug my daughter?" He grumbles as Sarah grudgingly helps him stand.

I chuckle as he embraces me, "Glad you're okay dad."

"You too kiddo." He looks up to see the Black Canary perched on top of a building. "I see you brought a friend..."

"She's here to help."

Sarah helps my father back down to the ground. "What do we do Jim? Where do we even start?"

"Well," He grunts, "the first thing we need is to know is how bad it is. Then we can call the Govenor... if the phones are working-"

"Dad," I interrupt, "Gotham's a No Man's Land."

His face falls. "Are you sure."

I nod, "They've cut us off."

He chucks the wad of gauze in his hand, "Dammit!"

"Jim!" Sarah exclaims.

"Those damn insurance companies probably don't want to pay for all this destruction! But to leave all these people stranded?!"

I put my hand on his shoulder, "That's why we're here. Blackgate and Arkham have been breached."

He looks up at me and starts to lift himself off the ground, "I want you to get back to that apartment. It's the safest place for you right now."

"Jim!" Sarah cries again, trying to get him to sit back down.

"I need you to somehow survey the damage, help anyone you can. Our phones might not work, but the one thing we do have are walkie talkies, Channel 4. Let us know what you find, and we will keep in touch with you."
