Stranded

Chapter Two

The sun has come up and the birds are chirping. I now wake up and I get dressed into my outfit for today. After I get dressed, I go downstairs to see my mum.
"Hi mum" I say to her.
"Morning hun." she replies in her naturally sweet tone of voice.
I think my mum is the best mum there could ever be. We may not be rich but we have enough money to survive on. We are a very happy family and when we get upset about something, we are easily cheered up. I am very happy with my life and I have everything that I need. My birthday is coming up soon and I'm so excited! My birthday is in three days and I can't wait! I wonder what I will get this time. My friend, Belle, is coming over at 10:30 so I have two hours to get ready and chill out with my family for a bit. At the moment the time is 8:32. I go upstairs into my bathroom, my bathroom is small but I like it, and I wash my face and go to the toilet. Afterwards I go downstairs again to have my breakfast. Today I'm having nutella on toast with a hot chocolate. As I have my breakfast, I look out the kitchen window and see a lovely blue sky with fluffy white clouds and the sun peeking up over the horizon. Today is going great already. I have now finished my yummy breakfast so I go back upstairs to my little bathroom to brush my teeth. After I brush my teeth, I go to my room and play on my phone for a bit. At the moment my phone is an Alcatel phone, nothing fancy like a lot of the kids at school with their iPhones. I don't really mind what phone I have as long as it can do what it's supposed to do then I like it. My favorite game to play on my phone is color switch. I have completed all of the challenges and the levels for gravity. I hear the doorbell. I run down the stairs and hug my best friend so tightly.She is the sweetest girl ever. I am so thankful that we are such close friends.
