(Why do my friend shipping fanfics turn out like this? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
"Just go to sleep okay." Jay insisted, "Only five more minutes, I promise you."
I sighed "Fine."
I walked to the room connected to Jay's.
I stretched out on the bed. I then put on my gown and got under the covers.
I began to drift.
I jolted awake, the feeling of falling awoke me.
Trying to fall asleep again...
I was jolted up again.
And again...
I sat up, looking at the time 2:32 am
Light peeked through in from under the door. I opened it to see Jay still sitting at his computer, his eyes heavy, editing one of the entries.
"Jay..." I said groggily.
"Hm?"
"I can't sleep, is it okay if I sleep in here with you?"
"Um... yeah sure..."
"Where are you going to sleep?"
"On the floor."
"... no... the floors are dirty, just sleep here, we could put a pillow between us. If you feel uncomfortable."
"Uhm... okay."
I lied on the edge of the bed and tried to fall asleep, but the bright screen of the computer kept me awake.
I turned on my side to face away from the screen.
I closed my eyes.
I heard quiet clicks of the mouse.
I heard the audio of the Entry. He was rewatching the Entry. He sighed and posted it.
He hesitated, not sure if he should.
I turned and said tiredly, "Jay, why are you just standing there?"
"There's plenty of room for the both of us."
"I don't want you to feel uncomforta-"
"We're friends, it's not weird."
He nodded lying on top of the covers on the edge. He turned off the lamp.
