I hate filler chapters, but I had to. :( Finals are coming up, so for those of you that are taking them, I wish you luck! I need all the luck I can get- my classes suck this semester.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. I have so many exciting things to come. c:

Light poured onto my face, forcing me to crack open my dry eyes. I knew I had huge dark circles under my eyes. I didn't sleep well again last night.
My room was unlocked, allowing me to go to the restroom and try to wake myself up even more with a shower.
I walked through the maze of tents with my towels and shower supplies in hand, I was getting weird looks from my fellow circus people. I met their odd looks with a glare of my own.
I walked into the community style bathroom and softly gasped. I looked like shit.
My long brown hair was frizzy and sticking up in every direction. My dark eyes were ringed in a blue-grey tone; signaling how exhausted I was. The scratches on my face were fading, but still visible. The scratches on my arms were much deeper and still appeared raw-looking.
I sighed, taking my stuff into one of the small shower stalls.
I stood, unmoving, in the shower; allowing the hot water to roll over my sore, stiff muscles.
I suddenly remembered the article at the library. I stiffened and quickly rinsed off my hair and toweled off. I threw on my clothes for the day and all but sprinting back to my room, where I threw my shower supplies on the floor. I grabbed my wallet and speed walked out of the tents. I didn't slow down as I passed the people gawking at me in the small town. I should have known news of the new circus girl finding a dead body would cause a stir.
I ignored the stares and glances of passerby's as I walked the path to the library. I could see the old run-down building in the distance, I felt nervous and sick. I had a bad feeling about this article. I hoped it was nothing, all I needed was some crazy trash-talk article to stir up more anxiety in myself.
As I walked into the library, I noticed no one was here. I couldn't see any librarian or any one reading or using the computers. I shrugged, slightly thankful of the privacy I had.
I sat down at a computer, ready to look up the article when I realized I did not have a computer log in.
"Shit." I swore, thinking of alternatives to get the article.
I stood up, looking around me for anyone. I silently walked to the isles nearest me, checking in them for signs of life. No one was here.
I shrugged to myself, walking over to the librarian's desk. I checked over my shoulder once more. I didn't see anyone.
I turned my attention back to the desk. I rummaged through the papers on the desk, looking for some sort of log in. When I didn't see anything, I decided to jump over the desk to the other side.
I started searching through the drawers, looking for any sort of log in information.
The first drawer I looked into was full of paperclips and post-it notes. I swore, slamming the drawer shut.
The second drawer looked a little more promising. I scrunched my face up in frustration. The drawer was full of unorganized papers. They were bunched and balled up, the ones at the bottom dated to almost two years ago. I flicked through the many layers of the pile, skimming the papers for some sort of log in information.
