"So your not my real mom?" I ask.
"No." She sighs.
"Your real mom is Sally Jackson. Sally put you up for adoption. I was one of Sally's Friends. And I always wanted a baby, So I went to the adoption center. I asked Sally why she put you up for adoption she said It was complicated, That her husband didn't want anymore kids. He was a very busy man and didn't have much time for another kid. He barly had time for his first child. I guess she didn't want you to to suffer the same."
I sigh taking all that in.
"I will explain where you have to go in the morning.For now go to sleep." "Wait I have to leave?!"
I looked at mom, Step Mom. Shocked at what she had said. She gave me a pained look, I could see her hazel brown hair with some white hair stripes. I turned around and walked away.
I open my bedroom door and look into my room. It some how seemed more like it was meant for some one else. I looked at my clock on my desk. It was only 8:40 it couldn't be possible. Well it turns out My dad is a Greek God so it could be possible.
I go to my closet and get my favorite purple bag put in it 3 Journals,A book. I never could read it very well. I mean after all, I have ADHD. (my 'mom' tells me Im a demigod and I bring a book...)
And my small clam shell shaped jewelry box given to me by my grandmother,and A photo of me my mom and Selene. I get the clam shell and open the shell. A small picture shows my gran, mom and me smiling like theres no tomorrow. I remember that day when gran gave me the shell for my 5th birthday. Then I smiled and went to sleep on me bed.
