Secret Love: A Sonamy Story

Chapter 1. Motivation

Amys POV
"Rose, wake up. We ain't gonna be late on our first day."

Shadow nudged me in the shoulder with his hand. I groaned. I have dreaded this day since I left my last school 2 weeks ago.

Shadow got expulsion because of a fight that got ugly. A girl ended up getting punched in the face. We had to go for Shadows good. Also that was the only school in the small town.

We had to get a new house and we both had to get jobs. I work at this café down the street from our new school, Emerald High. Shadow got a job at this fast food joint on the other side of town. We also got a car. Its a Cadillac that someone was selling for cheap. I swear Shadow has been treating that car like it's his baby.

"Can't I go like tomorrow or something? Im just not feeling school today."

Shadow just looked at me and walked out.

"Just get up, wash yourself, and eat. We leaving in 20."

I just rolled my eyes as he shut my door. I hopped up and walked into my bathroom and took a shower. When I got out, I smelled of roses. I put on a cute pair of ripped blue jeans and a dark blue crop top. I also put on some white flats. I left my quills down because they've grown out a lot lately.

As I walked down stairs with my book bag in hand I seen breakfast on the table.

Shadow had made sausage, eggs, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls. There was also some apple juice. I gotta say ever since our parents passed away, Shadow has been a even better big brother then before. He protects me too.

"Where do you think you're going dressed like that." He walked over to the couch to put his shoes on as I sat at the table and began to eat.

"To school duh."

"Not dressed like that."

"I'm not three anymore Shad, I think I can choose what I want to wear to school."

"I better not see no boys looking at my little sister. There'll be complications."

"First of all we're twins and I'm only 2 minutes younger than you. Second you ain't hitting no one because god damn it, we aint moving schools again."

"Whatever female, I'm just letting you know so you can't act surprised."

"Mkay."

I finished up and we got in the car. The school is only about 10 minutes away so I didn't worry to much if we'd be late.

We pulled up to the student parking lot and parked our car.

"If any bitch has a problem you take care you it, any dude has a problem, you can tell them to come have a little chit chat with me."

"Okay."

I don't like to fight. But these chicks be trying me and it's a pain when I gotta put em' down.

Shadow got out and opened my door.

Here goes my first day...

Sonics POV
"Did you guys study for the science test today," Tails asked us.

"Oh crap," said me and Knuckles at the same time.

"Naw bro I forgot."

"Sonic I would say that you're gonna pass this semester, but theres no way to possibly, being you, get up from a 20%."

I sighted, he was right. Im going to end up failing and repeating the worst class on earth. I really need motivation to even go in that class. But I wonder what can possibly give it to me.

"Well y'all see, I was talking with this pretty Echidna last night."

"You know Knuckles, y'all talk so much, why don't y'all just go out?"

"Now you know Sonic, and you too Tails, that I can't be tied down like that."

I shook my head. Same old Knuckles since 5th grade. Someday he's gonna meet a girl that'll change his mind for good.

We pulled into the student parking lot and parked. My brother and sister left earlier with their friends so I didnt need to worry about them.

I took the keys out the ignition and spun them around on my finger. We walked toward the school. The thing I hate the most about being the most popular guy in school is my fellow classmates treat me like a freaking god and I hate it.

All of a sudden as we crossed the street, we seen a Cadillac park next to my car. It's new to the school.

We watch for a minute and we see a black and red hedgehog get out and go to the other side of the car. He opens the door and lets a pink hedgehog out.

"Who's that," I ask no one in particular.

In the coner of my eye I see Tails and Knuckles Shrug. They turn and head for the doors but I watch her. She's beautiful. I hope she ends up in my science class. She'll be my motivation...
