Here you go, darling!

-----:)------

Coming to Las Vegas, or otherwise known as 'Sin City' hadn't been my first thought of a relaxing break for Niall. Turns out, we all needed to let out steam.

Go to Vegas, they said.

It will be fun, they said.

--------

"Niall, I don't understand why you won't come do the slots with me," I huffed as I found my Irish friend sat at the bar. The constant chirping of the machine after another person maniacally pulled the cherry handle was practically crying out my name, 'Kyralynn! Kyralynn!'

"Why do anything if there's a bar!" He exclaimed, clinking his drink against the fake mahogany of the casino counter. From his glassed over ocean blue eyes and rosy appearance, I can tell this hasn't been his first drink.

Flicking my long brown hair back, I pulled frustratedly at the purple hue underneath. Even with my petite five foot stature, Niall still sat high beside me on the frigid metal barstools.

"Let's do something fun!" He exclaimed.

"And what do you suggest?" I inquired.

"Shots."

With a final glance at the underpaid and overworked bartender, the 'nod' was given to bring the booze.

--

"What are you doing?" I practically cackled at Niall, who found it hilarious to be doing the funky chicken on top of a once empty billiards table. The crowd had formed to watch us, at this point.

"C'mon up here, babe!" He held out a firm hand to me and I was up on the table joining him in a flash. The last time Niall and I ever had crazy fun like this had to have been before X Factor. With his hectic life now, it becomes quite a long time before he can take a break and visit.

"And do the macarena!"

"The electric slide!"

"The running man!"

"The cabbage patch!"

The old, yet classic dance moves kept flying as Niall dipped me and on-lookers tossed cheap blue and white casino chips. I can only imagine what a horrid mess I must look right now, sweaty and drunk, but I can only see Niall in the rainbow haze around us. The drinks kept coming, the people around us were so nice to offer free ones.

The world spins as I take in his appearance. Niall's natural hair color has seeped through the bleach, and the soft spikes of his familiar stuble welcomed me as I hide my face in his neck, giggling like we're in secondary school again.

"Off the table, please!" I barely hear, but notice the frustrated middle aged worker trying to relocate us.

Once a wild laughing fit passed through us both, I collapsed forward to lean on his chest.

"I've m-missed you so much," I slur, stroking his cheek.

"I missed you more, my sexy baby," He growled into my ear, "I want to take you somewhere."

"Where? Narnia!" I laugh, swatting my knees.

"Come on," He laughed, doubling over, and pulled my arm to take us out of the sweltering casino.

"Are you taking me to your hotel room, Mister Horan?" I playfully scold, tripping over my feet.

"I saw-" He stopped to catch his breath, "This chapel on the way here," He smiled wide.

"I don't think we should pray right now," I tried compose a complete sentence.

"Hey! Hey! I think I wanna marry you!" Niall quoted the Bruno Mars song, singing at the top of his lungs as he brought me into the little white room.

At first I was surprised that there was a chapel here, but it is Vegas after all. And we are quite hammered, after all.

----

"Niall?" I groaned, clutching my head and rolling over in the fluffly white sheets.

"Kyralynn? Why are you awake?" I heard Niall's deep voice slowly say.

"You're in my bed." I stated, glancing at us both. Waking up in the sheets with Niall isn't unfamiliar to me, we've always had a bit of an unconventional friendship.

"And you're observant," He groggily replied.

Sitting up, I sighed and tried to take in the memories of our first night in Vegas.

"Kyralynn," Niall began, "I think we danced on a damn billiards table," He laughed.

The memories came back to me, "And people kept handing us shots!" I snorted.

"And you were mad I wouldn't do the slots with you," He turned to me and smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling up the way I always found endearing.

"Oh goodness, yeah! And then-" I choked on my spit. "Niall. Look at your hand."

"Oh my god. Look at your hand!" He stammered.

"We-"

"I think-"

"Oh my god," Niall loudly sighed into his hands.

"I guess you liked it because you put a ring on it," I laughed, trying to brighten the situation. Truthfully, I felt a hord of butterflies in my stomach doing the wave because I've always had special feelings for Niall.

"That explains me waking up with 'Marry You' stuck in my head," He groaned, "But actually-" My pace quickened.

"Yeah?" I curiously asked before he could continue speaking.

"I'm really glad this happened." I felt his calloused hand from years old guitar strumming fit into my own. Gulping whatever spit I had left in my dry mouth, I met his gaze.

"What do you mean?" I asked, not wanting to think he is suggesting something that I think he isn't.

"I could never ask you to be my girlfriend, because I'm never home. I felt awful constantly leaving, having to pretend I didn't see your tears falling whenever I would pull away. I want to be a constant in your life, and I can be now. This is a really freaking crazy way to start my day, and my head is throbbing like hell" He chuckled, "But this is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me. And that's saying a lot."

I felt like my world just stopped. I'm pretty sure my heart did.

"Everyone is going to think we're insane. Hell, I think we're mad." Is all I could manage to mutter. I think I was still internally melting.

"I never would have ever had the courage to do this any other way," He honestly stated.

"I'm glad you did, but we seriously just got married in some probably crappy chapel in Las Vegas," I laughed.

"Don't worry, I can always give you your dream wedding. Maybe in a few years when everything settles down, but I'll still be here," Niall professed to me.

"I will be too. I can't leave now," I jokingly pushed him over onto his pillows.

"Hey, hey! Kyralynn, play nice," He scolded.

"You're officially mine now," I mumbled.

"Of course I am. And you're mine too."

"How about today we just stay in the room, and order in food?" I suggested. This is a huge change for us both, forever I will be a part of Niall's life and he will be in mine.

Laying down to put my head on his chest, I closed my eyes in content.

That's what you get in Vegas.
