Synchronicity

Prologue

Long ago in a dark, distant realm, the 32nd Diva has died. The guardian, however, sense a new Diva that has been born. She immediately sends word to the emperor to capture and bring the new Diva. At the same time in a small town at the edge of the Empire, a lady gave birth to twins. Their names were Rin and Len. She loved the twins dearly. A few days after the twin's birth, a knock came at their door. "Who's there?" the lady asked. She goes to open the door and finds three men. One looked to be a priest as the other two were guards.

The priest said while holding open a letter," By order of Emperor Luka, I hereby seize your child in order to be taught the ways of the Diva. She is to be a sacrifice for the mighty dragon that protects this world. We ask for your cooperate in handing over the child and in return we will grand you wealth and other benefits."

"You want me to sacrifice my child for money? What kind of monster are you?" the lady snapped.

"Mrs.Kagamine, shall you refuse this great offer, we are to take the child by force. Your options are that you cooperate and gain wealth or refuse and only gain pain."

The woman tries to close the door only to have it swing back in her face. The guards storm in the house, one grabbing Mrs.Kagamine as the other searches the house. "You have made a terrible decision, Mrs.Kagamine. Your child is needed to keep the mighty beast calm for he will only stay tranquil for so long due to the past Diva's sacrifice," the priest tells her.

"Then why do you take my child now? She was only born a few days ago,"

"It does not matter to the likes of you. You should have just agreed to our generous offer," the priest spats at the woman. The second guard yells from the back room, "I've found them."

"Them?" the priest says questioningly. He follows the guard's voice to find him in a room with twin babies on the bed. "So there are twins, all the more reason to have agreed to our offer. No matter, we only need the female so take her so we may go," the priest turns as the guard separates the twins. The children cry as their mother screams and struggles," Please! Don't take Rin away! Please no!" The guard with the baby walks out and as the priest walks out as well he turns a bit and tell the lady," Goodbye Mrs.Kagamine, and my the guardian bless you." As the priest walks out, a piece of his purple hair is seen loose behind his tall hat.

The guard that was holding Mrs.Kagamine wait a bit before he threw her on the ground and walked out the door as well. She leapt to her feet and ran out the door only to see the last guard jumping on the back of a carriage as it rode away. Mrs.Kagamine fell to her knees and cried as her beloved child is rode away to her death.

Hey my Len, Rin lovers :) got another story for you. So I worked 4 hours straight last night and 2 more this morning on the prologue and first chapter so I wouldn't lose my modivation and train of thought because I enjoyed this story so much. The song and pvs don't really have much on the tale itself so I thought I might put my own plot parts in as well. Dont worry, it will definently still have all the moments that the pvs and songs have. Anyway hope you'll enjoy this new story as much as the other :D
