Everything is so dark here. I feel so alone as well as cold. After years of learning the ways of the Diva and how to train my voice, I've finally made it to the beast's lair at the bottom of the earth. I didn't think it was so deep down or even that it existed, but here it is. With each step I take, I remember the boy from my dream. He was so familiar to me. Something about him made me want to reach out my hand so he can grab it, but all the same, I wake up again before I even can. Even now I plea that he will come for me, but alas, that would never come true since my fate is bound. I am to sing until my dying breath to protect this world, for that is the way of the Diva. I've spent years training my voice to perfection. The Guardian taught me everything along with the priest. Now all that is needed is the dragon himself.
As I walked farther in, I begin to see the walls glitter from a faint blue light that reflected off the water droplets on the surface and the sound of the droplets falling echoed throughout the cavern. I then came to a more open part of the cave where a single blue stone gave off light on the ceiling, which illuminated the whole cave. In the middle was the mighty dragon who stared at me with burning yellow eyes. I walked up to the dragon unwavering and stared back. The voice of the Guardian echoed into my head, "You must sing." I squeezed the necklace the hung on my neck. Then a thought came to me. Maybe my song can lead the boy. I closed my eyes hugging the necklace to my chest, "Please hear my voice," I whispered. I looked back at the dragon as I begin the song.
At the bottom of the land which is dying in torture
I am singing where I stand, may my prayers reach to you
With all of the gentle voices I braid
The sleeping forgotten past
I am changing my pain to a smile through the strain
And I'm drowning down to the end in all of my tears
Hey people guess what, I'm still alive :D It's been crazy on my end but when I saw that a couple people were starting to read this story I thought I might need to add a few more chapters to keep them a bit satisfied (if I can even satisfy o.o) i know this one is REALLY short but I hope to have the next one to be longer since it is the start of a new journey and a lot of things happen at the start, at least most the time. Well anyway hope to have the next chapter soon til then :) BTW the lyrics in this chapter are not my own, they are by JoyDreamer, she is an AMAZING singer person on Youtube. I'll try to link the video to this chapter but since its the first time i guess i will see how it works out .
