I stared deeply into the man's eyes as our hands clasped together. Sweat rolled down both our faces as we put all our strength into pushing. "How much longer do you think you can last?" the buff man asked with a grin.

"I can go all day if I wanted to, but with you shaking so much I don't think I'll have to," I taunted with the same grin. The man's grin faded as his hand slowly fell back finally hitting the table. "It touched! Len wins again!" the bartender announced. Cheers and grunts were heard throughout the bar. Everyone was yelling all at once and I could only make out a bit of what they were saying.

"How did this kid win?"
"I knew he had more than meets the eye!"
"I call a rematch!"
"Who knew a scrawny kid like that could win an arm-wrestling match?"

The bartender (who was the only female in the whole bar) put down a tall, dark drink in front of me. "A reward for the victor," she said. "Hey, Hey Haku, you can't be giving beer to kids," a man from the crowd yelled then fell back in laughter. I frowned at the guy and chugged the drink down to be disappointed in the flavor. "Root Beer," I mumbled after setting the glass down.

The silver hair bartender took the glass and rubbed it with a towel that hung on her waist. "You may have won a lot and act older but I can't be giving out free beer to minors," she said in a teasing tone. I sighed, "I'm almost eighteen you know."

"Still a minor in these parts," she sat the glass down again and walked to another man who was calling for a drink. Her chest bounced with each step she took. "You're staring at her boobs again," a familiar voice said behind me. I wiped around and stuttered, "I-I was not."

"It's written all over your face," Leon teased while bumping my shoulder. "I mean who wouldn't want to look at those prizes. Their so big and round, perfect fo....," before he could finish his sentence a knife came flying only inches from his nose. The bar fell silent and no one moved. Then Haku turned to face Leon and me with a smile on her face and her eyes shut. In a calm voice she said, "I know you're not talking about my breast again, are you Leon."

"Oh no not again."

"When will that guy learn?"

"Glad it's not me who got her angry."

"She has that smile on, someone might die tonight."

Whispers were heard around the bar. I stayed completely still hoping she wouldn't see me, but my blond friend turned toward her, smiled and said, "Haku darling, it's alright to be shy. Heaven's angels have blessed you with such extravagant features. Even god is jealous for putting such a marvelous flower on this earth." I swore it looked as if roses were falling behind him. With each word he said though, it looked as if Haku's face twisted more, but for some reason he went on.

"But who can say how such a delicate flower stayed so pure even though she's so ol...." And those were his last words before he died. Actually he just got his face bashed in with a bottle. With fire in her eyes, Haku growled, "Don't you dare say that Satan word near me!" She then pounced on him and started throwing punches. All the men burst out in laughter.

"We warned you about saying that word."

"Like he would ever listen."

"Get him good Haku!"

I laughed along as well.

~Hours Later~

It was getting close to midnight when Haku called out, "Alright all you lazy bums, it's a full moon tonight so were closing early. Go home to your wives already." Many men grumble but left none the less. They knew better then to mess with her, especially after her little 'scene' with Leon, who is now in a bandaged mess in the corner till clean up time. After the last man left, I helped Haku pick up the last of the dishes while Leon gets up from his defeat corner and wipe the tables. I laid the dishes in the sink for Haku to clean and went back out to wipe the counters.
