The phonological system is one composed of syllable blocks. For someone who doesn't know the alphabet 손 may seem like one letter. But if you studied Hangul enough you'll see that it's made of 3 separate characters: ㅅ+ㅗ+ㄴ. One syllable block must contain atleast one vowel and one consonant.
There are different rules on how to write the blocks as you can see in the picture beneath.
Here are some examples with words. Don't mind my ugly handwriting I tried my hardest best okay.
Feel free to save these pictures or print them. Whatever helps you learn. Please don't post them anywhere without my permission I made these myself and put a lot of effort in it.When you add one more consonant below the vowel. The added consonant is called 'batchim'. (I'm going to make a separate chapter about the pronunciation rules.)
Hopefull this explains it good enough for you. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me. :)
I'll probably edit this chapter in the future but I decided to already upload it for now.
