"What do you mean 'when I see her?'"

Gray just shrugged. "What I mean is that she's completely different than how she was five years ago."

"Different how?" Natsu raised an eyebrow. Gray was starting to freak him out. Had she grown? Had she dyed her hair? Had she gotten --God forbid-- uglier?

"Good different" was all Gray said before he gestured him to follow him. They got to the patio door and Gray paused.

"Just so you know, she's gonna be staying in the guest house with us, okay?"

"What?!?! But that's where we stay to get away from things!"

Gray smirked. "Okay, one: you won't want to get away from her. Two: she's all grown up! She has things she wants to get away from too, you know. That's probably why she decided to come this year."

Natsu narrowed his eyes. "How would you know that?"

Gray realized his mistake and tensed up. His eyes widened as he spoke slowly.

"Umm..... I kinda maybe sorta kept in touch with her." He said as if it was no big deal.

"Why would you do that?!"

Gray made a face. "So just cuz you guys had a thing-" he was cut off.

"There was no thing. There was never a thing!"

Gray continued. "Just cuz you guys had a thing," he raised up his hand to stop Natsu from objecting again. "Doesn't mean I can't hang with her."

Natsu grumbled and walked closer to the patio door. He could her music. Loud music. He opened the patio doors and he could feel his teeth vibrating. He looked over to his left for the source of the loud music, only to find something completely unexpected.

A beautiful woman.

She had silky looking blonde hair with nice curves. She wore black sunglasses and along with a black bathing suit that left little to the imagination. One word came to mind.

'D*mn'.

Natsu thought Gray just had someone over the last night and hadn't left. She was pretty, but he didn't want her to stay any longer than she had to.

He made his way over to her and cleared his throat. Which obviously wasn't heard over the loud music.

'Streets not safe, but I never run away, even when I'm away.
Oti, oti, there's never much live when you go oti.
I pray to make it back in one piece,
I pray, I pray'.

After 10 more times of trying {and failing} to get her attention, he decided to take drastic action.

He unplugged the cord from the outlet.

"WHAT THE H*LL?!" The girl shot up on her seat and turned to look at the culprit. Her gasp was audible.

"Yeah, okay, here's the deal with the deal. I get that your one of Grays.....partners....and you're very pretty, beautiful even, but I'm here now. You gotta go."

She didn't remove she sunglasses as she turned and scoffed. She just sat back down.

Natsu saw this as a sign of disrespect. "Okay, listen you, I-" he was cut off by a slap on the back of his head.

Gray came up behind him and said, "How could she be one of my, as you so elegantly put it "partners", if I just got in this morning? Dumba*s."

He looked at him, then at her, then back at him again. "Who is she then?"

She sighed and stood up, showing the men a full look at her body. If Natsu himself wasn't drooling, he'd be shocked.

She took off her sunglasses and realization hit him once he saw those big brown orbs. His lips managed to form and let one word escape in a whisper.

"Lucy?"
