Cinderpelts P.O.V

"But what will the clan say?"

I couldn't even look at him, staring at the ground. I couldn't believe he would say that, not after what just happened, to test him, I hissed,

"I don't know, and I don't care, if you loved me, you wouldn't either"

I stood, for the fourth time since the accident, and turned away from him, my eyes in no way giving into the pain I felt in that moment. I simply waited for him to speak, stubbornly refusing to break the silent.

"I don't.. But I worry about what punishment there would be for us.. You, mainly if they knew.."

"It doesn't matter, Fireheart, if you don't want me, then leave. Dont cause me more pain"

~~~~~Firehearts P.O.V~~~~
I looked at Cinderpelt desperatley, I wanted to be with her, more than anything, but now I had ruined it. But still, I watched her.
After some time, I gave up and meowed quietly,
"I do want you, I never wanted to bring you any pain, All i want is to be with you, give me a chance, No. Give US a chance.."
~~~~~Cinderpelts P.O.V~~~~~

He was desperate now, I could tell, and I wanted him too, he knew that, yet he just threw it all away like dirt.

How could I trust him?

Could I trust him?

I had to at least try, so, awkwardly I replied,

"And if you doubt 'Us' again?"

"I wont, Cinderpelt. Like I said, I was only worried about your punishment.."

I smiled at him and turned around, and as I did so, he padded over to me.

He licked my ear once again, and before I knew it, we were both on the ground, sharing tongues.

I purred as he told me of the time he found Yellowfang and proved Spottedleafs death caused by Clawface, I only interrupted once to ask,

"You mention Spottedleaf alot, you must have liked her.."

His ears flicked in surprise about this, but he shrugged it off easily by meowing "She saved Yellowfang's life, and without her, you might not be here, We might not have been a thing, and she meant alot.. but shes dead, Cinderpelt, how could i possibly like her?"

I let it slide, and got up, meowing,

"You should get going now, Yellowfang is probably back now, and we cant risk letting her hear us"

"Alright, next time we should do this out of camp.. Maybe by the oak tree by the river?"

I  nod, and couldn't help feeling excited by the idea of the possibilities of the future.

As long as nobody found out..
