Tonight was the night of the homecoming football game. Also the night I tell Morgan I love her. I'm shaking in my Vans. (come on, boots are so last season) I play quarter back, so I have to be on top of basically every single move so I don't get thrown off. I'm probably gonna be thrown off anyways because of Morgan. Why must I overthink everything. What if she doesn't say it back? What if she thinks that I'm rushing things? What if she's just dating me because she can't have Harry Styles? That last one is pushing it a bit far fetched though. So many "what ifs" why cant I just go with it? Oh, that's right, because I'm me. Dear Lord its 5:30. I have to be at the field by 6:00. I fling my jersey and football pads and pants on. (Idk everything they wear) Apparently girls love football pants. They feel like leggings or yoga pants. And after you wear them for a while and start sweating, and try to take them off, it feels like ripping your skin off. It is by no means attractive. I cant find my stupid mouth guard. "Looking for this?" That scared the crap out of me. I slammed my head on my dresser and flung around to see my dad with my mouth guard. Great. "Woah, son. Let's try and make it to the field before you die." Great pep talk dad. Real inspiring. On the way to the game, I was constantly thinking about everything that may go wrong. Not with just the I love you. But with the game. I need to calm down. Everything's going to be okay. Hopefully.

Homecoming football game in 5 minutes. Fab. I'm wearing a girly fit jersey with 23 on the back. Thanks mom. I kinda like it. Anyways, I cant wait until this game is over. It just started but oh well. Good lord. All these damn gnats biting me. Oh joy. I'd rather be sleeping, or cuddling. Or both.. Shane makes a pass to the linebacker, what ever the kids name is. And then the kid starts running. He ain't gonna make it. He ain't gonna make it. He made it!!  TOUCHDOWN. Great 1 point for us. The game goes on for what seems like 500 years. Then the game is tied. 14 to 14. The only thing left is to see if our kicker can make the field goal. Who is this scrawny child? Whoever his is, he best be kicking. He takes a running start and flies at the ball. Is it gonna make it? Nope. Nope. YES!! "Tonight's big winner, Oxford High School Ravens!!" Booms over the loud speaker. Maybe I'll go deaf, who knows? I start walking towards the field. Shane is rocking the football pants if I might add. When I finally reach Shane, I'm being lifted off the ground and spun around in the air. Fantastic. "That was amazing babe!" I say when I'm finally standing again. "Morgan I have something to tell you" Oh my god. Is he breaking up with me? What did I do? Is he pregnant? What I am talking about on that last one? "Morgan, I-I love you."
