This week I've been spending lots of time with just Anna Claire and Vanessa.I feel kinda bad about just kind of blowing Shane off. But he understands that my friends need me right now. This week is the last week of school. Wow it's seemed to have flown right by. It seems like just yesterday I was bumping into Shane at the football fields. It's been great. I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. Shane, Vanessa, and Anna Claire are coming over tonight. We're all going to have a big bonfire tonight down by the lake. Mine and Vanessa's moms are out of town for the weekend so of course we'd take advantage of that! We plan on staying at the lake late into the night, and early into the next morning, then we'll all go sleep at my house. I make a small basket of things like blankets, towels, water, and some more random crap to take down there with us. The humidity here is absolute shit. I hate it. Its like 1000 degrees in the shade! "If you and Shane start making out I will push both of your nasty asses into the lake. No questions asked." Vanessa threatens me. I stick my tongue out at her and she throws a blueberry at me. Where did she even get blueberries from? This girl I swear. Shane knocks on the door and Vanessa runs to get it. When she sees that its Shane she says "ew" and slams the door in his face. I slap her and open the door. "Well hello to you to Vans." He says hugging me. Vanessa rolls her eyes and eats another blueberry. I still have no idea where she got that from.. "Whens A\C gonna be here." Vanessa asks. "When she gets here." I say taking a few blueberries from her. She smacks my hand. We pack our things and head down to the lake. A few minutes later, Anna Claire is prancing down towards us. There's like a million mosquitos everywhere. I'm going to throw a fit. Good thing we have some spray. As it gets darker, millions of fireflies also come out. They look so pretty dancing around in the sky. We're all just sitting and talking and singing to our favorite songs. Twerking has got to be the scariest thing I've ever had to witness. Lord help us all.
