I throw my bag and shoes to the front door and I plop down onto the chair across from where mama sat feeding Brady mushy baby food on his high chair.
"How was your day"
mama asks scooping up the mushy carrots that oozed out of Brady mouth.

"It's alright but remember when you said we gunna adopt one of those troublesome city kids?"

"They are not troublesome Enzaina they are just kids that need a little guidance and yes, we are adopting her, in fact she will be hear tomorrow to meet you two, I have a feeling she and Brady will get along splendidly... you have no choice."

My eyes widen with shock. he did not discuss this with me it's like I have no say in this house about who we were adopting or if it's was gunna be a girl or boy.

" What, you've already meet her, you should have told me we were adopting a 'girl' , do you just do everything without telling me?"

"Not everything Enza, stop being dramatic"
"Fine, but tell me she's at least a little kid like seven or eight or something, easy to handle."
" She is around your age and wont need to be handled y'all will probably get along just fine too so stop fussing over nothing, and 'we' are not adopting her I am, she will be your sister soon so you best start acting that way by tomorrow."

I grumble as I thrust myself out of my chair and head into my room. It probably won't even be my room in a while and she will probably be all snotty and expect to be spoiled or ask for my room or something thats how all of them are, of at least that's what I've heard. I don't even want a sister unless it was Josey but that's impossible. Ma will definitely regret this.

I press cinzo's contact number on my wrist watch and his answers within a few seconds
"Whats up" he asks before I start on my explanation to cinzo I ask siri to turn on the hologram and a hologram of him riding his bord shows up in my room
"Where you headed to with the hover bord" I ask receiving a chuckle from cinzo " just going to Cava's wanna check if the rumour of her and Tiro is true, ya know"
I roll my eyes
" Oh stupid Cinzo don't tire yourself out its probably not true and she doesn't even like you in that way, y'all are just friends, even I know this." A wild blush appears on cinzo's face spreading to the tips of his ears
"shut it Enza you don't know anything " he mumble's As he continues to zoom on his bord. "Well I called to tell you my ma's going through with the adopting thing and she says it's a girl that's supposed to be around my age "

"No way, hope she's hot, maybe I could get with your hot sister huh Enza ?" Cinzo laugh's

" Eww Cinzo nobody wants to ' get ' with you and ain't you in love with Cava or something"

His amused face suddenly turns into a blank frown.

" have I ever told you nobody likes you Enza?"

I stick my tongue out at him and he replies with the middle finger then abruptly ends the call. his hologram disappears from my room.

Brady crawls into my room in a series of coo's and giggles. siri ship stretches out an arm helping him onto my bed " Brady you should tell mama not to adopt that girl, I bet you can convince her more that I can" I say to Brady as I squeeze his chubby cheeks in my palms. He erupts into a fit of giggles falling over on my bed

"You crazy little baby"

I putting him back into sitting position. I swear he laugh's at everything. After a tickle setion Brady falls asleep on my chest.

" Enza, good morning "

siri ship cheerfully says

"remember you are meeting your new sister today"

I groan as a response and remove sleeping Brady off my chest. I put on my slippers and head to ma's room to find her spread all over her sheets and snoring loudly without a care in the world.

"Ma , I thought you were gunna go pick up that ship girl "

I yell from across her room. When she doesn't reply I take of my slipper and throw it to her head causing her to stir and groan.
" finally you've woken from your slumber" I say sarcastically.

" Enza, don't ever throw your shoes at me again"

mama groans still half asleep. After a few seconds she goes back to sleep so I leave her room and go back to mine to find Brady awake and trying to munch on his fingers. He was hungry.

"Siri, may you clean Brady up before breakfast "

" okay, Enza "

Siri picks Brady up and moves him to the washroom to have his diaper changed and mouth cleaned before breakfast. I head to the kitchen to get Brady Some baby food. I press some buttons on the food Despenser ordering some soft baby cereal for Brady and pancakes for me I didn't bother to order some for ma she wasn't getting up any time soon. Siri brings a cleaned up Brady to the kitchen and sits him in his high chair. I place the food in front of Brady just as mama barges into the room fumbling trying to hold her purse, heels and shirt in her hands.

" ENZA , WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME IM 30 MINUTES LATE, SHIT "

She yells at me trying to pull her her shirt over her head and put on her pumps at the same time eventually getting help from siri.

"Mama" Brady giggles and coo's as ma runs to the kitchen counter grabbing her keys and two of my pancakes. As she heads out she gives me and Brady a sloppy kiss on the head and shoves an pancake in her mouth then slams the door behind her.

I lay on the living room floor as Brady plays with some Teddy bears on the ground beside me. I look through the latest knews on my phone and eventually come across something that said landing countdown time was shortened to 3 days for some reason

"Brady, were gunna get of this stupid small ship in three days " I laugh hysterically receiving a confused look from Brady.

"Never mind."
