Hi my name is.. ~chapter 1

   Have you ever wondered what it's like being different let alone chosen out of everyone to go to somewhere special instead of anywhere else that's considered 'normal'. Well that is exactly what happened to me. Hi! My name is Hickory or my full name Hickory Dickory Dock but please, just call me Hickory. I have been sent to a place non other than earth and believe me it's a weird place, nothing like back home, but I can't judge at least the place looks well kept. I'm a Knox sent here to save and train a prince, I'm basically a protector of this world along side my 'equal but still better than me' partner who is a prince, but I don't think he knows that yet. Anyways, I bet your wondering what a Knox is, here let me explain, a "Knox" or better known as "magical being of time and dreams" is what I am, the name pretty much explains it all. We are born into animals but soon become more human like but still keeping our animal traits like ears and a tail for instance. We have powers that earth would consider "catastrophic " but at least we use it for good reasons instead of bad. Well okay, most do, some become Nocturne or better known as the "dead ones" their Knox's that have turned evil and set out to kill the princess and rule the world in hatred and darkness. For years we've stopped them all from their terror but there's one Nocturne no one has been able to defeat. Enzyme the crooked is his name and killing and destruction is his game. He is the one who we all fear and anyone willing to go up needs to take a 'get back to reality' pill before he gets squashed like a pancake. We try our best to at least postpone his destruction but not destroy him. This is where I come in, my life long goal is to defeat Nocturne and save princess, I guess you can say I'm a pretty wise and amazing Knox but hey those are your words *wink*. My station or planet I have to guard is earth, and I have to look for the prince, but I can he's close so I think I can find him. *ring ring* Oh no! The bell, I gotta go see you soon

Hi guys! This is my first little comedic novel about heroines and weird out of this world people saving the earth. This chapter is just sort of an introduction and an explanation for stuff that will be going on in this book so I wrote it so you don't have to worry about not knowing anything that's going on.
