An Empty World

I groaned opening my eyes, but I frowned when I saw I was laying in the middle of a street. I got up and looked around confused before I called out." Kairi? Sora? Riku?"

When no one responded I let out a breath and started walking. After a while, I came to a three way street and let out a sigh." Where am I?" I questioned aloud." More importantly, where is everyone else?" I added, looking down the empty streets, wrapping my arms around myself.

I started walking again, only to stop when I noticed a guy in a black coat watching me from the rooftop. I frowned before I noticed a bunch those creatures appear a few feet away and start toward me. I backed away in fear before I turned and ran, only to find a dead end. I spun around as the creatures got closer and I slid to the ground. I  squeezed my eyes shut as they advanced.

" Please" I begged and a single tear fell down my cheek just as the creatures lunged at me. A bright light filled the air and when it cleared, the creatures were gone. I looked around confused before I shakily got to my feet." Where did they go?"

" Somewhere where they can't hurt you" A voice answered and I jumped, spinning around to see the guy in black." Who are you? Why are you following me?" I demanded.

" Well that was very rude, I did just save you from those creatures." He stated and I frowned before saying." I'm sorry, I'm just really lost right now, I'm looking for my friends."

" Maybe I can help you find them." He told me and my eyes widened." Really?" I asked.

" Why of course, but first allow me to introduce myself. " Reaching up he removed his hood and I frowned seeing a guy with long blonde hair and unnerving pale green gaze. " My name is Vexen".

He smiled at me and held out his hand, but instead of taking his hand, I backed away from him in fear. I didn't like the way he was looking at me, and something just didn't feel right.

 " It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you." He said making a grab for me, and I moved out of reach.

Following that feeling I turned fled, only to have him appear in front of me." Now is that any way to treat someone who just saved your life?" he asked before he grabbed ahold of me with his gloved hand.

I tried to pull away and his grip tightened causing me to wince in pain. Pulling my foot back and I kicked him in the shin. " Your not acting very friendly." I snapped at him once I was I was free, running down the nearest street.

I turned a few corners, losing all sense of direction as I literally ran for my life but I came to a stop when a bunch of those creatures appeared in front of me." Come with me now, child. Don't make this any more difficult then it has to be" Vexen said demanded appearing behind me again.

" Just leave me alone" I cried, getting really annoyed and I noticed the dark energy that sent me here crackle around me, as if in response to my anger.

" Interesting. No wonder the heartless can find you so easily." he chuckled as the energy faded away and I frowned." What are you talking about? Is that what these creatures are called?"

Instead of answering he turned and disappeared back through the same vortex he had appeared from. As soon as he was gone, the heartless attacked.

The next thing I knew, I was in a cell which was completely covered in the color purple. I frowned looking around before I noticed a guy with blue hair and an X shaped scar in the middle of his face, watching me from the other side of the bars.

" Where am I?" I asked but he ignored me before he turned and walked away. I frowned looking around in confusion before I got up and walked toward the bars of the cell, just as Vexen appeared so suddenly that I stumbled backwards in shock before I falling over." Such a curious little thing you are, Child, but I'm displeased that I never learned your name."

I didn't respond and he frowned." Do you not remember your name?"

" I know my name just fine, now leave me alone." I snapped and the dark energy started up again causing him to smirk before he reached toward me. I pulled away and he sighed" Such a curious thing.". He repeated before he disappeared. I looked around before I retreated to the back of the cell, where I sat in fear of what might happen to me in this place.

" Kairi, where are you" I mumbled to myself, tears filling my eyes as I pulled my knees up to my chest in an attempt to make myself smaller.
