A Nalu Fanfic

Chapter 1

Hey! Thanks for reading everyone! I hate to say this but i'm terrible at updating.

Lucy's POV

I yawn and stretch, looking out the window next to my bed, it was a beautiful morning. Birds chirping, sun shining, it's almost perfect. I can't wait to start the day with a nice warm bath. I sit in silence, planning out my outfit for the day.

 Then suddenly, it's all ruined as Natsu's already monster-like snoring gets louder, then the idiot falls to the floor. I sigh out of frustration and crawl out of bed, trying not to wake the pink headed dragon slayer. I chuckle to myself,  can't believe he snuck into my house again. I quickly grab clothes from my dresser and step into the bathroom to change, and take that relaxing bath.

After my bath, I change into a fuzzy red sweater, a denim short-skirt then finish the outfit with knee high brown leather boots. I brush my teeth, and comb my hair  in two pigtails, I smile at my reflections. Yup, I still got it.

As I step outside of the bathroom, I hear bustling in the kitchen. Oh no, I fast walk into the kitchen, already half knowing what I am about to see. As expected, I see Natsu and Happy with their heads deep into the fridge.

"What do you two idiots think you're doing?!" I scream and glare at their innocently stuffed faces.

"I was hungry! Ya got anything spicier?" Natsu asks, ignoring the furious look on my face. He turns back to the poor fridge and continues  rummaging through it. I roll my eyes and look at back at him. His pink hair is messy without it's usual gel causing him to use his scarf to hold it up by wrapping it around his forehead. His onxy eyes wide with the energy of a puppy. He looked attractive, I blush as I force the thought to leave my mind, erasing it from my memory.

"Ya got any fish Lucy?" The blue cat looks at me, interrupting my thoughts. I scoff, unbelievable.

"Get out!!!" I yell, giving them one of my signature lucy kicks. I hear groans and cries from the two as they go flying to the opposite end of the room.

"Fine." Natsu groans, developing a bump on his head. "But you said we would go on a job today!" He forms his lips into a pout. I roll my eyes, it was too early for this, this day is starting to get a little less beautiful.

"Okay, sure. Later alright?" I say, grunting as I bend down to pick up the mess they made. "Meet me at the guild in half an hour to pick a job."

"Hooray!" They both yelled in unision, then they rush towards the window. They turn to look at me to say a short thanks, before they jump out the window.

"Use the door next time!" I yell after them, putting my right hand against my forehead in exhaustion. They are a pain, but at least it never gets boring around here. I look at the mess they made yet again and feel a huge wave of laziness take over my body.

"Later."

I decide to go shopping for food since, thanks to Natsu and Happy, I happen to be all out of. As I head to the lively market, I pass by a shop with a gate key for display. It looks interesting, it wasn't one I had seen before. Out of curiousity I step into the cramped little shop and ask the owner about it.

"What's that gate key you have on display Ma'am?" I try to ask politely as possible. Then I look at her, she wears a black hood and it hides her graying hair, not the hair on her face that happens to be covering one blue eye. She puts her pale, pruny hands on the wooden counter, giving me a knowing smile.

"Thats a special key, it summons a red and yellow bird known as Ruka, they will be your companion and do much more interesting things." The small hooded woman explains. I soon lose interest, it just sounds like Plue, but a bird.
