Ordinaire. The place no one visits, talks about or in fact would want to be talked about. It's the brink of extinction due to apparent 'haunted houses' and 'paranormal events' occurring. The buildings are run down and if I must say, do look like they are haunted but cannot be said. Its almost never sunny out and rains almost all the time so the place could honestly be mistaken as a ghost town. The people are friendly although don't talk very much, they just get on with whatever they need to get done. Don't get me wrong its not all dark and gloomy, most of the people in Ordinaire enjoy the rain and like the peace and quiet that fills the town.

There is one high school, Aurar High, that massive wooden castle looking place at the end of where they easily manage to fit all the children into reasonably even classes. The children learn of course all the normal things you would in school, but learn about the complex world of magic that is all around them outside the battered school walls. The children hate learning magic, they say its useless and that its boring and dangerous but what they don't know is just how important that magic will be to them. They learn to master spells, defend themselves, control their power, understand dangerous curses and best of all, find out their main powers for themselves.

Charvi, a brown haired, green eyed girl who has lived in Ordinaire for her entire life, has mastered her magical potential to levels unexplainable. She is a bit different to everyone else. She doesn't dress the same as all the others, she is actually interested in magic and scary things, has her own way of thinking and doesn't like anyone in Ordinaire. Of course everything said is the absolute opposite to everyone else. Everyone knows Charvi's different. Everyone. They stay away from her, they keep their distance and they stare at her with the same old glare every time. Someone even tried to cast the deadly Custin spell on her, but don't forget she knows what she is doing when it comes to good old magic so that plan didn't really work out for them. Charvi has one friend, Malia, who again is the same as everyone else in town although does listen to the views of Charvi and doesn't really mind. Still a distant 'friend' but she doesn't have anyone else.

Oh and I forgot to mention, demons. Yes, demons and I know what you're thinking, but anyway. All demons have a leader, that leader is called Custin. Custin is the most evil of all demons and spirits alike. Many years ago when Ordinaire was fairly new and bright, Custin found out about powerful sources of magic being used there. You see, Custin believes that all magic is under his possession, (which is not the case at all) so when he heard about magic being used, he brought his army of demons to attack Ordinaire, causing great grief, damage and violence. Of course magic in those days was not as understood and advanced, so they couldn't fight back, causing everything to be destroyed. When Custin thought everything was destroyed, they left thinking that they had won. But they hadn't. Some managed to survive. After that scaring and horrific time, nothing was ever the same in Ordinaire again. Now that is why all children living in Ordinaire must know about magic and the dangers, perks and history that come with it. Just incase of another attack. Unlikely.
