Charvi thought about the word that was circling her mind all night and trying to figure out what makes that creature sound so familiar. She walked along the same battered road to school like she always did, but making sure to have a game plan for when she got there, so she wouldn't run into any of the 'jerky jocks' or 'peppy princesses' who would almost certainly have a go at her for being the way she was. She reached the gates and to her unpleasing surprise and luck, the one and only Chris Kurrin. Tall, had light brown, quiffed hair and quick brown eyes. The most popular guy in school or also known as the biggest jerk of them all. He would always have a go at her when ever he found her.

"Oi its Chowder!" Chris stated with a witty smirk as he directed his group of minions to look Charvi's way. She just walked off to attempt to get to her locker but that was quickly found to be not successful as Chris walked up and stood in front of her.

" Oh no, you thought you could get away that easy? You may be smart and know heaps more spells and chants than me but at least I'm not a.. oh whats the word?"

"A freak? Is that it Chris!" Charvi spoke with cracks in her voice, on the verge of tears. Pretty much the whole hall turned at Charvi's raise voice and of course all were the usual disgusted stares.

"Yeah you freak!" Chris came closer. "How dare you embarrass me like that, just because your rep is nothing doesn't mean you need to be jealous of mine." He smirked and grabbed Charvi's shirt, scrunching it in his large palm.

"Don't embarras me.. or.. else." He whispered harshly and then let go of her shirt and hitting her back against the locker. She turned her head to shed a tear and when she looked up, she saw him. Erris. He realised it was her and she realised it was him. He started to walk over but Charvi just ran the heck out of that building crying like crazy. Erris stopped and raised his hand to run it through his hair frustratingly.

Charvi sat down at the park on the bench and reached into her bag, still crying. She opened her book and opened it to the Custin devil. She tried reading it again to get this day out of her head but she couldn't do it. She soon figured it out soon enough and put her book to one side of the bench but leaving it open. Charvi brought her knees to her chest and started to sob, thinking of one word. Freak..

"Freak!" She sobbed loudly to herself.

"Hey, don't call your self that!" A husky voice rang through Charvi's head. She looked up to see a distressed Erris standing by the stairs.

"Oh gosh." Charvi snapped her head down as she saw Erris looking at her tear stained eyes.

He walked closer to her and replaced the open book with himself sitting there. He took the book and placed it on the lovely green grass in front of him. Erris leaned forward to try and find her face.

"Charvi." He whispered innocently. "are you alright? I mean you shouldn't but, I mean y-you can if y-"

"You're not good at this." Charvi said in between another sob.

"I know, I know I'm just s-sorry." Erris said deeply. Charvi looks up at his marine eyes.

"You didn't do anything wrong." Charvi said quietly. Silence arose.

"Call me the freak already would you?" He smirked with the magical mystery that he possessed.

"Shut up!" Charvi sniffled.

"Im sorry if I seem stupid for doing this but lets just say I don't have much experience with people." Erris croaked out.

"It's alright Erris, but do me a favour and answer a question for me?" Charvi reassured him.

"Mm" he spoke, his mysterious, dark being was identifiable in his voice.

"Who the hell are you?" Charvi said, wondering bout this mysterious boys existence.

"I'm whatever you want me to me." he said darkly. Charvi looked for Erris' eyes.

"Erris!" Charvi shouts as she looks away from him and holds her head with her hands.

"Wow Charvi are y.... N-no!" Erris hesitated and got up.

 "Erris y-your ey-eyes." Charvi stammered.

"I uh I'm so s-sorry Charvi I have to g-go." Erris stuttered quickly and bolted down the stairs like lightning through the night.

"E-erris?" Charvi whispered as she saw Erris running until he was out of her sight. She looked at the sky and realised that night had fallen and the moon shone dangerously bright.
